An adult, I mean :P It was a G1 backpack, maybe a Loungefly? She works in the office of my apartment complex. I need to bring up ponies the next time I go in there :lol:
Once, many years ago, I was behind someone at the pharmacy who had a Firefly tattoo. I wanted to say something, but I was too nervous. A few years ago, I saw a car that had a license plate that said 20Cooler.
I think those are the only pony people I've seen in my area. Not that I get out much.
I don't have anything that says I'm a pony person. My backback is a black galaxy design and it was cheap :lol: Maybe I should get a pin or something for it.
Tell me about your experiences with pony people "in the wild" :)

I have seen a few times people who have had similar pony shirts to me. :)
So I haven't seen many people who like ponies either.
(Now that summer is coming, I could start wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a pony on it.. if any of them fit me.) :rolleyes:

i just recently saw new vintage g1 style bags, one was a carry case looking handbag and the other was a show stable backpack, they are so awesome, expensive but awesome

One time I saw someone with a Vinyl Scratch tshirt at Half Price Books. That was pretty neat.

Besides pony events I hardly see people with pony shirts or items in the public. Most of the time it's just me wearing them :)

Great to hear! To the best of my knowledge, I've never seen merch on people in the wild, and if I did I would immediately - maybe mistakenly - assume it was a collector. Every time some high quality G1 merch comes out, I wonder a little whether there really is a big enough market for such a super niche nostalgic brand.
Loungefly and especially Moschino of course come to mind.
I have seen Jeffree Starr wear a Moschino MLP track suit in one of his videos. The one with a rainbow curl on it? Maybe that counts :)

I'm racking my brains trying to think if I've seen anyone in the wild with one of the Loungefly bags... don't think I have? I don't recall ever seeing anyone wearing a pony t-shirt, etc in the wild but I could be misremembering.
I did see someone wearing a Care Bears dress when I was in London the other day. OMG it was so pretty... I want one! hehe

Omg! This thread makes me want to wear my pony purse more often - I usually just wear my pink one because I don’t want to scuff up my nice pony backpack!

Aww so cute! I would love to see pony people out in the wild haha. I don't think I've ever seen any adults wearing anything MLP related, just kids. Still cute to see!

I saw a gal here im colorago walking into target she has a g1 pony tattoo. I told her it was cool. She was kinda rude..oh well I didn't take it personal beacuse tattoos are personal space.
I've got a pony tattoo and some one grabbed my arm and jerked me across my counter poped my sholder just to see my tattoo. So I feel the grumpy tattoo leave me alone Attitude.
My ex-boss wife was a hard core collector. She said she fell out of it beacuse it was too competitive.
Past that meh..

I've had a couple of run-ins with other pony folk here in SC. Never had a bad experience, though most people here in the Southern part of USA just tend to be nice. ^.^
Thank you, BC. :D After a long hiatus I just started actively collecting again earlier this year. I had No Idea that MLP backpacks were even a thing! Now, I have my first Loungefly MLP bag on its way to me for my birthday! And I'm Just So Excited!!! Huzzah! xoxo

I saw someone in...Sutton, I think? Or Staines...it was outside one of the toy stores I know down there, and she was wearing a top with Starshine on. One of the more recent tops, probably Primark or related. I remembered it because I'd just come from looking at/for G1 retro stuff.

I have a coworker with a G4 Applejack tattoo. I thought maybe, because we are close in age, she might be a pony fan/collector. She’s just a horse person who thought G4 Applejack was cute, so I didn’t bring up that I was a collector.

A man passing through often has sports car with recolor/weirdly lit(?) Rainbow Dash G4.

There is someone at my high school who has a black backpack with a rainbow dash iron on patch and an unusual princess twilight sparkle "pin" on it as well. I really want to talk with them about the decor of ponies so bad but my anxiety stops me fro doing it.

I have a g4 backpack that I take places with me sometimes but I haven't met another mlp fan in the wild sense I was in elementary school
