EQ Girls Dolls, Wich ones have different hair?

I have serveral EQ Dolls, Six in Total. But they all have different hair. I want to see if all of them have the same hair mines have. I will write down wich ones have wich hair.

Smooth and Nice hair:

- Celestia from the Doll & Pony set
- Applejack Single
- Fluttershy Deluxe Doll (Not sure)


Dry and stug hair

- Deluxe Rainbow Dash
- Pinkie Pie
- Rarity

Good hair: Celestia, Twilight+pony, AJ

Bad hair: Sunset & Twilight double pack, Delux Fluttershy, Delux Rainbow Dash.

My deluxe Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash dolls had kinda dry/coarse, friction-y hair that frizzed up when brushed. It can be fixed to be silky and smooth by liberal application of conditioner, though.

EDIT: I never thought that the type of hair could change with the accessories! My Fluttershy came with purple wings, and my Rainbow Dash came with red winged boots.

Good idea.  I haven't been able to figure out the pattern for their hair.

Bad hair:
Deluxe Rainbow Dash (came with red 'winged' boots)

And except for the type of hair and boot color, both of those deluxe Rainbow Dash dolls were the same.

My deluxe Dash and Fluttershy have EXCELLENT hair. Perfect, silky smooth nylon, Celestia too. Basic Twilight, and two pack Twilight and Sunset Shimmer. have dry, easily tangled hair that gets better with conditioning.

I wanted the black booted deluxe Rainbow Dash but got stuck with the red booted one    I have to brush her hair with a soft brush as fear from combing her bald with that light hair

standard Rarity

Good hair: Deluxe RD (black boots), Fluttershy (clear wings), and Rarity I guess I lucked out?

I did notice that my first two dolls (RD and FS) had SO MUCH HAIR, but Rarity has quite a bit less...

I haven't had any with dry/bad hair. I have TS/Sunset Shimmer set, Celestia, and Deluxe Rarity. Now, the hair clip thingie from Rarity has hair that is different, and probably what you guys are referring to. But all four of my dolls have nice soft hair.

What about the Rainbow Dash with the super long hair? I want her purely for her hair, but don't want to spend the money if her hair isn't great

Wow...some interesting patterns - it looks as though there is a pattern on some releases and then not on others. Cant wait to find out the end results.

Is the "bad" hair really really bad hair or is it just the kind of hair that needs treatment to be nice?

This thread is starting to worry me. I just bought a EQG Deluxe Fluttershy for my friends birthday. Hopefully she has good hair

Deluxe Fluttershy has horrible hair that falls of extremely easily. Applejack has nice hair in constrast.

If the hair looked shiny, then most likely its the good nylon hair  if it looked dull then its the bad hair :s

I haven't noticed any of my loose dolls having bad hair..... in fact, that was the first thing I noticed when I opened up my Pinkie. She has the softest hair ever.
