Kamar Schnauzer Toy Thrift Find
« on: June 09, 2016, 08:33:36 AM »
I found this neat schnauzer plush at the thrift store for $1! The tag says "Kamar Made in Japan." Does anyone have any more information about these toys? There's some listed on eBay, but I can't find a website for them.

Oh lucky you. I love love Kamars and they are usually from the 60's and 70's.  Its not that they are a huge valuable item, but very well made with that really nice vintage look you don't see in plushies anymore.  Great find.

Thank you both for the info! That vintage look is definitely what made him stand out. I think I'm going to keep him for now :)
