I found a bug pony!

So I was looking through an outlet toy shop for Halloween decoration and stuff... and I looked through all the other toys too :P

I'm not going to post phone pics because my camera is really nasty, but I found stock images of what I found

And I thought to myself "whoa, that's a really cute bug". But then I noticed that it had six legs and I lost all my cool: "IT LOOKS LIKE A MY LITTLE PONY IF THEY WERE INSECTS IT'S A G4 BUG AND IT LOOKS REALLY COOL"

And the last thought that made me buy the set (I couldn't care less for the fairy at that moment): "Fairy Ruki"

I'm no longer on Neopets but Rukis have always been one of my favourites. Centaur bugs!
Toys with electronic parts are a big no-no to me but this time I made an exception. Come on, how many times do you find a toy insect as cute and cool as this one?

It costed me 9 euros (like 10 dollars according to Google) and I'm glad the "Ruki" I bought was in a pretty bad state (glue residue, bad face paintjob, etc) because I was going to customize it anyway  :biggrin:

And I did some research on these. Fairykins were made by Lanard and had a 2000 version and this "spunkier" reboot.  I think Ruki's fairy friend is lightning-themed and has got a pretty funny sassy face too. I'm still deciding wether I should keep her or not.

I just noticed there is a cute set with two of the bug ponies (and a cool treehouse + fairies) on ebay- it is $79 which is a little high- but so tempting!

Gosh I really don't have the room for it but I do love the pony bugs, the grumpy fairies, the snail and a tree-house to boot!

I wish I could get it!!!!!!!!  There are 10 available so maybe the price will drop :D

No, but you can detach its wings and it stands up really well!
If it was poseable it would be amazing, but I'm happy with what I've got :D

ya the price on that set is super scary.  I had to look it up it looks like they reused the same play set for the Enchanted fairy Forest toy.
