Pretty in Pink Parasol

The Perth Pony peeps held their Christmas meet yesterday, and had a Kris Kringle swap. I was highly amused when I got AusMLP as my partner.... I searched for things from her wishlist and couldn't find anything I loved, so I resorted to making her a custom instead! I decided on a monochrome pink Parasol.... pics yes?

SO! She was airbrushed in a lovely soft pastel pink colour. I decided to go with roses (as Aus loves pink roses) and I've been really into painting swirls. The sculpted Parasol was far more difficult than I thought it would be - but I think that was partially because of my decision to use real lace.

Lace was custom dyed, and matches one of the custom dyed pinks in her hair ^.^
Hair is Fairy's Breath, Pussycat and 2 shades of custom dyed Snowflake. Hair was given some loose curly waves.
She has swarovski crystals in 3 sizes and colours dotted across her body.
Sculpting done with magic sculpt. Paints are artist grade acrylics, as well as the new paints I've been playing with recently.
Sealed with Modpodge -matte on the body and gloss on the eyes- because my dullcote did NOT want to set properly in the weird weather we've been having recently.

This is a very lovely idea but I miss the rainbow colors a bit (that's just me not a super huge fan of monochrome colors) =)
