To custom or to repair?! SQUIRMY done (alt rehair)!

As you guys suggested I rehaired Squirmy with alternate colours. I wanted her to look more fresh and more girly than with her original hair colour and here's how she turned out:

I used Dolly Hair's MLP hair and colours are Strawberry Mousse, Pink Sugar, Mermaid and Daiquiri Ice.

With Play Time I wanted to try puff hair but couldn't find yellow yarn. So she must wait until I'll find some.


I've had these ponies in my bait box for ages and I just can't decide what to do with them so I decided to turn to you guys for opinions.

Music Time is fine, she's got some stains but I think they could be cleaned with some effort. I don't know whether she has had a haircut or not? My biggest problem with her is that I don't like her colours but since she's in very good condition I think it would be a crime to customize her... What do you think?

Play Time is in nice condition but of course she's got no hair left. I could just rehair her but I can't decide should I do it with the original colour or with something else? Customizing her completely would be a crime too though I think she's not one of the prettiest MLP's 

Last but not least we have little Squirmy! I have already done some repairing but I'm not happy how it turned out. Someone had cut her other ear tip off so I made her a new one and painted it. Of course my paint was way too dark for her  I also tried to repair her symbols 'cause they were very worn but I'm not happy with them either. What do you think ponies: should I continue repairing her or should I just customize her?

And I must say I'm not a big collector my self. If I was I think I would have already repaired these girls without even thinking about any other options.

i think music time is completely fine, and would be perfect for anyone whos not a very picky collector. i'd be interested in buying her if you wanted to get rid of her!!

leave Music Time as is, just clean her up.  I'd rehair Squirmy and the other pony.  Not bait to me.

Yeah, I think too that repairing or alt rehairing is the best option for Play Time and Squirmy

I think it would be awesome to see an alternate-rehair for Play Time and Squirmy! But I'm especially fond of Squirmy, so I'm biased!

I'm glad you found someone to buy Music Time! I was gonna say, I'm sure you could easily find someone to trade her for multiple baits if you wanted to! Euro ponies will always sell well to non-Euro collectors.

I think anyway that Heartthrob does nothing much for Play Time and that's why I haven't been interested in repairing her. And I don't like Squirmy's original hair colour much either so...

Agree that's a great idea

More than one color can help too to make them more interesting  than the original colors

I think Music Time looks pretty great too-  I seem to remember that my Music time had a somewhat weird style of hair- almost as if it had been cut, so maybe that is her style? Not sure, but yours does look very nice.
