I have a couple: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginReposed into a rearing pose visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHorror themed repose visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI know, I know she is a mer - so aside from the tail, both her front legs were reposed to get them to sit how I wanted. I also have a few with smaller, less noticeable reposes.... and funnily enough, I also have 4 or 5 repose WIPs in various stages of reposing sitting on my desk right now.

PonyIsland had a custom contest, and this guy was my entry visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLegion is a merdragon who carries inside him a thousand souls, whose symbols burn with fire and blood magic. Sculpted with Magic Sculpt on a G1 seapony base. Painted with a combination of artist grade acrylics and pearlex pigments. Hair is 16 shades of custom dyed hair plus venom, cherry pie, vampire kiss (dollyhair). Sealed with MSC, plus various gloss sealers. All up, in the 3 weeks the contest ran for, I did about 115 hours of work on him... there were times I felt so burnt out but in the end I think he came together nicely

I've used milliput I didn't like it much - it may have been from an older batch, but I found it a bit more crumbly than apoxie, it didn't smooth as easily and hold details as well, and it definately sagged during the dry time and there was some definite shrinking. I also remember it being very very messy - not as messy as an airdry clay, but still pretty bad in comparison to apoxie.

nickeline!! I love your work! I always wanted to add one to my collection. It's nice to see old school customizers poke their head in! I still customize, but I swear I get slower and less motivated every year.
also OMG ERUNA!! I have ended up with both of your Alien ponies, and they are some of my favorite custom acquisitions! I am so happy to see you still occasionally customize
Yay!!! I'm so glad you still love her!
Jupi has to keep a close eye on them - she knows one day I'll sneak into her house and liberate one to come and live in my collection Its wonderful to see you still make ponies! I've always loved your work!! Nickeline, its so lovely to see you back!! Your Medusa custom has always been one of my all time favourite customs I think the concept and execution are brilliant!

I have some pics visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo it has a plug like a G3 neck, but in a v shape instead of a circle Once you break the seal around the body, some hot water and a few good yanks and they popped right out Afterwards it was pretty easy to patch the hole on the body with some apoxy, some sanding and tada!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

It's also really weird that Pinkie doesn't have a consistent hair color. Are you sure it's not because of fading or anything? (of course it might just be Hasbro cutting production corners somehow) My G4 baits are generally straight out of the box/package and into my bait bins. And in Pinkie's case, I checked 12ish ponies against each other trying to find a match - Jupi can attest to my absolutely losing my mind over this, I was ranting for a good half an hour as I sat surrounded by baits and hair. In hindsight, it would have been quite hysterical to watch

I love her. I think the way you painted the feather eyes on the wings is utterly gorgeous, and I love love LOVE the symbol. I promise, one day I'm gonna figure out how to steal some of your painting skills <3

Oh and I also need hair matching color confirmation for this: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,331598.0.html
I went and had a look for you, and the stock pics I found of her weren't very clear so I asked a friend to grab some pics of the Twilight Pink in her collection and pulled out my hair box visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe tail looks like Water Nixie and Amethyst. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis looks like Razzle Dazzle, Heart Throb and Passionfruit to me. The oranges are all far too orange (Mandarin, Nectarine, Old Satsuma and new Satsuma) but the passionfruit looks pretty close to me Hope that helps!

I spent ages trying to colour match Pinkie. I've checked every pink I have (which is most of them) against the various Pinkie baits I have.... you know whats most frustrating?? 4 FS Pinkie baits and every single one of them had different coloured hair. I mean, not hugely noticeable, but noticeable enough when you are trying to colour match. Same with the 6 zillas I had in my bait box - all slightly different. Heart Throb is close, but its not exact. The closest I got to Pinkie was a batch of custom dyed snowflake I did for Princess Pinkie (mostly rose pink RIT dye, with a tiny bit of wine RIT added, if I'm remembering my 'recipe' correctly) I haven't checked MLC's newest nylon colours for a match, but I expect Elise could check that out for you
