I've seen many comments of the years about how the Sunbeam pose being clunky and unpleasant. However, I love it. Maybe because I love Sunbeam? But she looks motherly to me, and patient. I don't know how you can look at the pose and think "patient" - but that's the feeling I get from it.

I also love the Glory pose and the Gusty pose. Actually, I like them all although it's too bad the Streaky pose is trippy. Poor ponies just lurch around and look unbalanced.

When I look at unicorns in the Mimic pose (my favourite pose), I think they look proud and strong. Gusty would have to be my second favourite pose, when I look at it I just think Regal and Majestic.

I love Glory, but I dislike her pose, I think her lifted leg looks awkward, something about that pose just irks me lol.

I absolutely love Mimic's pose, and it makes me sad that there are so few ponies in that pose. I don't actually like any of the ponies in that pose except Mimic (Milky Way is okay, but she's far from a favourite), so I've never owned a pony in that pose.

Second favourite would be Gusty's pose.

I think the Mimic pose and the Powder pose have the most personality. I voted Gusty as my third because I think it's really elegant, though I do adore Moondancer and her pose as well. I see too much hate for it, but it's so chubby and cute!

I love the Glory pose, I think of it as the quintessential unicorn pose. But I love them all really! Unicorns!

I really like the Mimic pose. I would have to say Powder pose is #2 for me. Who doesn't love a unicorn?

My favourites are Buttons and Gusty (in no particular order). Moondancer and Glory are some of the least appealing G1 poses overall.

I think I'm going to have to go with Glory, Gusty and Mimic poses. I don't like the Powder pose.

Mimic! Every pony in that pose looks so happy! Then, Gusty and Buttons, I think. So hard to decide. I really like Powder's pose, too.

There is just something so charming about the moon dancer pose!
I can see why people don't like powders pose, but it's cute atheistic hasn't worn off on me yet, it just looks very innocent like she's in some kind of wonderment.

My favorite G1 unicorn pose is Glory's pose by far.  I can't believe she is (currently) in second to last?!?!  What?!?!  It's such a "leader" type of pose.  I love it!

This topic makes me more than a little sad about the current state of affairs for G4...

I love love love the Mimic pose! It is so dramatic and regal.  I guess I'm biased, though, because Milky Way is my favorite G1.
