If someone visits your town via dreamcode, can they appear in HHA? [maybe if they give a good rating]. I'm just confused how this random person got there and wasn't from a street pass. [@_@]

Is it a SpotPass house? I'm relatively certain you cannot get HHA homes through DCs.

This list might help you decipher whether you got the home via SpotPass or not.

I got a spotpass home last night so if your's showed up last night that's probably what it was. Can't remember the name off hand and I'm too busy planting trees to check at the moment, but he has one of his rooms made up like a backyard.

I managed to get my number one wanted villager last night from a user on another forum- Phoebe. :3 She even had her town set on Labor Day, so I was able to get a picnic basket while I went to pick up Phoebe.
I didn't know you could still get holiday exclusives items from another person's town if you are in the same region as them.

I've noticed that the easiest way to tell if someone is a spot pass is to look at their town card and their registration date.
A street pass is likely to be someone who's registered in June, while the spot passes are in April.
