Li'l Woodzeez Sets are great for g4s!

We probably won't get them in the UK, but I may have to pick up that bakery from eBay soon for my G4s!

I already use lots of Calico Critters/Sylvanian Families buildings with my G4s, but it'll be nice to have buildings that are more Ponyville style in color!

Whenever I stock the toys, I always get that spark when I see something ponifiable. Walmart has this cheapo pink mustang that I want to turn into a Rainbow Dash vehicle, but I haven't figured the right colorway yet.

I have never heard them bering called Li'l Woodzees before. Here they are called Sylvanian Families and I have also heard of Calico Critters.

They fit very well with the G4s.

Li'l Woodzees are Sylvanian family fakies from Target. lol at first I thought the same thing when I first saw them.

Lil Woodzeez are a different brand from Sylvanian Families. SF are known as Calico Critters in the US because they lost the rights to call them SF there, but are still known as Sylvanian Families in the rest of the world. SF items tend to have a more woodsy realistic color overall and higher quality, but the Lil Woodzeez colors definitely fit ponies better. Very Ponyville like.

I have that bakery set I bought it just for my G4s I'd love to get a hold of some of the other sets they're perfect size

Wow, I was offline yesterday afternoon and can't keep up with this thread!

You are so welcome for sharing, I had so much fun putting stuff on shelves, I think I am going to use ZOTS adhesive dots. They are fabulous and removable.

I know, I was so not interested in g4s at first and now my collection is almost complete plus I have started with these I WANT the school set and then I am going to make customs of more of the kids to set up a little school.

Also, I find it great you put Plumsweet in the Chef's hat... that is what I did when I first got the bakery, lol! 

that's so funny! I went to my collection to 'hire' some employees and Plumsweet was on the front row staring at me like "me! me! me!" I want to make a custom g4 into Gingerbread and she can work there too.

The bakery was what got me. I HAD to HAVE it. AND it was on sale. Yesterday it looked like you could get it for the sale price online at Target. I have ALWAYS love miniatures and I have a dollhouse and a box of miniatures I pull from for photoshoots. I keep thinking of all of the cute little stores you could make with these. I need therapy Also, they give a great use for the little baskets and carts the ponies come with- they can haul groceries!

Thanks for the info on the set history. I hadn't even thought of using CC and SF sets for ponies but now I am curious to go to TRU to see what they have 

I will definitely take pix when I get more. I hope other people do the same

Little Woodsies were a Fisher-Price toy released in the 60's. They were mice I believe. I have them tucked in a box somewhere. These new ones are made by Battat and I've been tempted by them due to their similarity to Calico Critters and Mapletown. Those pics are too cute with the ponies in the shops.

Yes, I did notice that these sets said 'Distributed by Battat' on the tags. That's really interesting about the vintage sets, I may have to look them up.

Now I am sorry I did all of that searching. I am drooling over the SF Grand Hotel/CC Cloverleaf Manor. You guyes were right, their shops are nowhere near as cute as the Li'l Woodzeez ones.

A friend showed me these and told me there were perfect for MLP G4. It's amazing how detailed and high quality the sets are! It would be nice to have some of the sets but I just don't think I'd be able to afford it while collecting ponies.
