Mine arrived today! No sparklies but I'm happy to have them. They've been in stock at my nearest Hot Topic since Sat. so it's been torture waiting for the mail. I'll still be stalking there for the chases but I'm happy the ones I ordered don't have any major flaws; Only a small flaw on  the black of one on Lyra's eye which I already dabbed a little paint on and a small black mark on Pinkie's forehead which doesn't bother me much and I probably will be able to remove if I work at it a bit. It sucks to have these worries on something supposedly a collectible though. Your poor Lyra Lightning Twirl! I hope you can exchange her easily.

Wow- your ponies look perfect!  I guess there's the advantage of buying them in person.  Not one solitary pony looks even close to that good in my lot- and I bought many...

Some of mine look perfect compared to that one lyra posted here.  Poor girl.   

Are people contacting hot topic about quality control, Funko or are you guys just returning them?


My next question is how many did orders and did you receive a glitter?

I got my order yesterday, no glitters thank goodness I found some in the store!  I bought a ton too, I think the ones in the store are better than the ones they ship online? No idea why though. I had to thoroughly look through all of them it's hard to find ones without flaws! If it's not the cutie mark messed up its the eyes, if it's not the eyes its the glue smudges, if its not the glue smudges its the paint smears... Luckily I was able to find two that are close to perfect!

Phew got mine in too! Yay they got to me! Nothing too obvious that is wrong, there is a paint scuff on one of the two Pinkies on her eye...but I keep thing MIB so who knows about the NDS...no glitters out of the two sets I got....

Got Pinkie and Lyra yesterday as well. And was lucky to find the sparkly variants too! Had to visit two HT's to get this entire haul. But it was worthit! Now I don't have to suffer like I did with the Fluttershy variant.

Congrats Alzatia! They look awesome, nice pop finds too, personally I'm not interested in them, but glad some like them! I'm just sticking with the regular vinyls.

I'm not fussed on the Pop! line for these I have to say. My Pinkies are here - one sparkly! Yay! - and I will go re-check them for flaws now I think, just in case.

I never had issues with the Dash/Ditzy wave, and the Hooves/Flutter wave was fine as well. I do wish I had kept a Dash since she was so pretty but I did buy them as convention stock.

I do really, really like the sparkle-Lyra if anyone wants to trade for a sparkle-Pinkie! I am in the UK which spanners shipping somewhat.

I got mine in yesterday and their paint job looks good and their eyes are pretty straight No variants though! I'm dying ofr the glittery Lyra

I went to Hot Topic yesterday and found 4 Lyras and 5 Pinkies but none were variants

I got my Pinkie today, she's not sparkly (boo) but I guess I'll have to go to stores to find her. Too bad Hot Topic scares the bajesus out of me.

Anyway, my Pinkie has some minor issues as well. The Pop! figure is just fine (got one of those too) but yeah the normal figure has issues.

First photo shows her botched eye, second shows a brown patch on her mane and then a scratch on her cutie mark, and the last shows a black spot on her mane (and the eye again). I'm not sure what to do about this, I'm normally not too picky with smudges and such but the eye and cutie mark are a bit more prominent of an issue than marks and smudges. What do you guys normally do when this happens?

Haha, same here. I always feel so out of place at Hot Topic and the workers there stare at me all the time
