Today I finished my second custom!!!  ^.^

I bought days ago a fakie very cheap, as she has an open mouth I thought that she could be a great daughter for my G3 Coconut Cream  :lol:

I want to make the dad, I want a G3 white pony with open mouth also (like Periwinkle) but here is difficult to find G3 ponies, so I will have to wait...  :yikes:

And here with her mother Coconut Cream  ^.^
Her name is "Cocorange Cupcake" because her mom has the word coco in her name and a cake/pie in her cutie mark, and orange because I imagine for her a dad with the name Jamie D'Orange  :lol: (he is the custom that I would like to make when I find a bait with the Periwinkle Pose  :P)

Well, I love the NewBorn Cuties toys and plushies, so I really wanted a baby Sweetie Belle because I love white ponies... But here in Argentina I can´t find her  :|

But I found a yellow fakie in an argetinian virtual shop, so, I decided to make my first custom (or rapaint  :P)


I used:

* acrylics,
* matt varnish,
* eyeshadow makeup for the cheeks blush,
* nail stickers for the cutie mark,
* "Poxipol" and glitters to make the horn,
* wool dyed in pale pink for the hair

- Special thanks to the member that posted here a tutorial about the wool method for the hair and to all the others that made tutorials (I read a lot of them  :lol:) -



Here some pics of the "making of" and the final result, I'm not entirely convinced about the hair, maybe I should cut it a little, but I like her a lot more than the yellow fakie  :biggrin:

Her name is ROSE CATCHER because her mom is Desert Rose and her dad Star Catcher (I see the Star Catcher toy as a boy, I don´t know why  :lol:)

Also her cutie mark is related to her parents: the pink hearts stickers for Star Catcher´s heart tatto, and the green flowers for her mom  :P
