Show me your first rehairs! And give me tips!

SO I am attempting my first rehaired custom (a G1 baby), and so far I've... pretty much bent a needle out of shape. Anyone have any tips to make things easier?

Also, for anyone, like me, whose first rehair is not their first custom: show me what you did!

stretch the hole a little first with a pushpin. makes the needle slide in much easier, and the hole will tighten around the hair agaon afterwards i generally put the pushpin in, load the hair onto my needle, then pull the pin and hair the hole.
