I'm also definitely interested in this!  A simple swap that shouldn't take too long.  I think the only challenge would be finding the right hair color to match the BB.  Lots of fun though!  I like CottonTALE's idea of making it a complete surprise, just like the BBs.  Maybe narrow it down to a certain wave though?

Well, I'm not sure that making the pony a complete surprise is a good idea, if only because I don't want anybody to be disappointed in what they receive. There are a lot of diverse blind bags, and not everyone has the same tastes. Besides, it'll still be a surprise if you list five favorites, because you don't exactly know which one your partner is going to make.

That being said, I don't think we need to limit which wave, either. There are just too many cool ponies to choose from.

I second this perhaps move the top 5 to a top 10? that way there is a chance to get in at least one fave per wave/special BB ponies and no person will have to sacrifice a favourite.

I think we should keep it at 5 that way you know it's your most fav ones and its easier for your partner to pick. I personally don't know a lot of the BB because we only recently started getting them here so I don't know any of the sets before the metallic/sparkly ones or really any after.

I have a quick question, are their guidelines like "no making a pony that has already been made" and such? and if so, how would that work for ponies that only reached prototype status like minty and sweetie blue?

I've been thinking about that, myself. I don't really think it would be much of a big deal to choose something that's been made as a brushable already... I have a feeling that there are some who would be interested in a Minty and/or Sweetie Blue custom, since they're so rare. And as for anything else, I don't think anybody would choose something that's already widely available.
