We're making a custom version of our partner's grail. This can mean either a reproduction, an alternate pose, or a different generation remake.

The idea is to make a custom based on one of your partner's grails.  It could be a custom reproduction or a variation--my guess is that it would depend on your partner's preferences.  Including ponies never made might be okay, but that might be a question for the swap hostess.

I think she fine with it- she approved my app and two of the ones I picked are unmade prototypes

(Sorry if this was explained in a comment, I tried to find the answer first, but just skimmed through the pages.) So, this is to make a custom of the grail pony/ponies of your partner? Can we take our own sort of...twist on the grail or just make it exactly like the grails? *seriously thinking about joining* :3 This looks like it would be fun.

Well I said my partner was welcome to take a zombie approach to my grails, so I think whether you can take liberties on a grail is up yo who you get more than anything.

To my partner, I don't mind if you put a twist to it at all! I actually don't want an exact replica -- and for some of my grails, an exact replica would be impossible, anyway. As long as it still resembles the original pony, I don't mind creativity. Feel free to spice it up!

I love creativity, so anything goes. If my partner would like to do a replica in another gen or same gen, that's awesome, too. So, partner, have fun! As long as I can still tell it is that pony, I don't mind creative takes on it.

Midnight_Dream, that sounds so cool! I hadn't even thought about zombie grails or creature grails in general...but now I have an itch to try that some day.

I love all things zombie, so I always think of that as an option for any custom. Too bad I fail at sculpting or I would make a zombie custom.
