Bath and Bodyworks Swap: Shipping and receiving

Knibitz stopped by the Customs forum yesterday with an intriguing idea. And since I had been planning to start a swap around now anyway, I decided to go with the suggestion of a Bath and Bodyworks themed line of customs, and turn it into a swap.

Bath and Bodyworks has product lines with names that sound fitting for a pony, as well as color themes that are vivid and alive, gorgeous to look at.

If one could figure out how to scent a pony to match the theme, that would be awesome. Dollyhair.com has instructions on how to scent ponies using their water based scents, and I wonder if it would be very different.

Disclaimer: Scenting a pony is NOT mandatory for this swap.

Signups 8/2 - 8/15 or 20 participants. Whichever is first.
Partners assigned no later than 8/17
Work time of 8/18 through 11/18
First Check in 9/18
Photo Check in 10/18
Final Check in 11/18 with approval to ship granted upon photo of completion.

Rules:
1. You must have 5 positive arena feedback. I will also consider eBay feedback.
2. You must have been an arena member for at least 4 months before sign ups are over.
3. You must have pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs to show the quality of your work. This is a skill based swap and I need to know where to put you. If you intend to sculpt anything, please include pictures of sculpting.
4. If you do not meet the first three requirements, you may still sign up to be placed in a newbie category. This category will need at least two participants or it may not be run. You will be notified in either case. Newbies require 3 feedback instead of 5.
5. Ship on time! I realize real life issues come up sometimes. If this happens, I want to know about it as soon as you realize you will be late.
6. No shipping early! I will be withholding addresses until shipping time to prevent this. The exception will be after final check in and your partner is ready to ship as well. I don't want anyone disappointed in this swap and with so many people going MIA lately, it's best for everyone to hold off until we are sure their partners haven't disappeared.
7. Be prepared with progress pics at progress date.
8. Send me pictures of your completed custom before you ship. I want to know your custom is complete before it goes out.
9. Let me know right away when you ship your custom and when you receive one.
10. Do not let anyone know who your partner is. It is secret.
11. This swap includes all generations of ponies (G1, G2, G3, G3.5, and G4), if there are any of these you do not like, include that in your form. Do not use any fakies or babies unless your partner requests it.
12. You must be in no more than 2 other swaps (total of 3).
13. PM the sign up form to me (Maniah) by the sign up deadline. Please title your PM "I Love Smelly Ponies" so I know you have read these rules.
14. You must check in with pictures for the final check in 1 week before shipping.
15. KEEP YOUR SHIPPING RECEIPTS! You need to be able to produce proof of shipping when asked. You need to hold onto your receipt until your partner confirms that they have received their fart. I also highly recommend delivery confirmation for those not shipping internationally.

16. All participants MUST check in at each check in date in order to remain in the swap. Failure to check in will result in removal from the swap. I don't want to have to remove anyone, but I will if necessary.

I can't go in the store because of all the flower fragrances, most of which I'm allergic too, but the fruit scents are great :3

I only use Midnight Pomegranate, but there are some other fragrances that look like they'll be beautiful ponies!

Interesting. If enough interest is generated, I might sign up for this, but I'm a bit leery of scents, since I'm allergic to like 90% of them. On the other hand, I've been looking for an excuse to go to BBW and browse, so this would be a good reason. I have some of their Sakura bath wash, but haven't used it quickly - I tend to shower instead of bathe.

Besides, we could have the option in the form asking if they would like their pony scented. If my partner would like it scented, I would do it, and vice verse, I'd like mine scented!

Correct! The ponies do NOT have to be scented. I only did a quickie blurb of questions to consider for the form, but scented or unscented was one of them.
