As this is not a Custom Pony Swap, this does not count towards your 3 swap limit.
Custom ponies are awesome... But wouldn't it be fun to get a box filled with custom supplies?

- $20 minimum value (shipping doesn't count)
- Must include One Pony and One hank of hair
- Fakies and McPonies do not count towards the limit, nor do any non-customizing supplies
- Do not share who your partner is with anyone except the swap host.
Obviously you don't have to go out and buy all new stuff! If you have a hank of hair you haven't been able to figure out what to do with, or some sculpey you just can't get the hang of, you're free to send that! Honestly, it may cost you nothing but shipping, depending! I also encourage you to look at your partner's "Never Use in a Million Years" list. Is there something on there that you think they should definitely try? Within reason, you could include something from that list as well! The form is just a guideline; it's there to give you ideas, but it's not the be all, end all of everything.
Things you could include in your box:
- extra hair
- extra baits
- rehairing tool / needles
- brushes
- bandaids ('cause who doesn't cut themselves once in a while with Xacto Knives?)
- sculpey / clay
- mohair
- dye
- wire
- glitter
- gems
- etc!
I would caution you to be careful about sending liquids (paints/modge podge/etc,) aerosols, etc. if you're going to do so, please refer to your country's shipping regulations.

You must have at least one selling/trading feedback from here, or three from other sources (eBay, Etsy, etc.) so it's still newbie friendly. (If you need help getting a feedback, let me know.) Negative feedback will be taken in to consideration, but doesn't automatically disqualify you. (Ex: Non-shipment or super delayed shimpment would possibly nix someone, etc)

Anyone have any input into dates? Truthfully, I think a week or two for sign ups, and 3 - 4 weeks to prepare the package. I also know there are a few other swaps coming up and it could be nice if this was done in time to maybe get supplies to be used for those. Or.... something. ^.^

If everyone lists a few items that they do not need, and a few items that they really want, that should give everyone some idea of what to put in. Maybe list some wanted colors or something?

I would love to do this. I have so much stuff lying around that I know other people would definitely appreciate. I have lots of baits, hair, extras, tools. I know my partner wouldn't be disappointed. I also love any excuse to go to my local craft store.

Haha. It hasn't. Once I hear back, I'll probably start it fairly soon.
Jupi said she wasn't sure if it'd count or not, and would ask the other custom mods. So we'll see! 'Cause I'd like to make it available to as many people as possible, and the answer would affect scheduling.
I'll also send out a PM reminder if approved, to those who've shown interest... if y'all'd like?

I'm not sure the 4 weeks will be long enough. :/ So I'm a little iffy about joining. I have to order stuff in, cause I live in a town 2 hours from any craft store. And I don't have a lot of extra supplies. :P I only buy what I need most of the time.
I'll have to think on it, tho it seems really fun.

No, since this is not an actual "custom" swap I do not believe it interferes with the "3 Swap" guideline.

You should probably give everyone up to 12 weeks, like a normal swap even if we aren't working on a custom. A lot of people do tend to order things online and I know most of the stuff I love, I usually order from a different country; which is a much longer shipping time.

So. Now through 4/13 would be sign ups. 6 weeks to "work" and then a shipping period that spans 2 different Fridays (5/25 - 6/5).

(to answer my own questions- Yes bait prepped and ready to go, all blank- no hair, eyes, symbol, would ROCK. You can cut the head clean off, I'll just glue that sucker back on. However, I'll take it however you want to send it, lol. NO G4 Pets! I have a TON...don't need anymore! I like anything gummy, caramels, cow tails, cadbury eggs).

Yes, I prefer my baits prepped as I don't have the time to do so myself anymore. I do not use G4 pets or accessories so no thanks. I like all the candies! Specially sour, tangy gummies. And my partners box is getting bigger everyday!

I don't care much if my baits are prepped or not (though honestly if it's something restorable, I may just restore!) 'cause I have fun doing the prepping myself. I like some of the G4 pets (Rarity's bird, and the hedge hog are awesome!) I, too, like most candies. :D No dark chocolate or liccorice. (May want to be careful of sending meltables as in Texas, it's already getting hot!)

Prepped baits or not doesn't matter to me :) Candies - I like sour candies and my hubby and son like milk chocolate (they are the real sweet eaters in the house). G4 pets and accessories I don't really use but I do customize LPS too.

A prepped bait, if it's a G3 (unless it's Sky Wishes, then don't you dare). :) G1's- don't prep (they might be perfect for my collection). G4's- it doesn't matter, they aren't something I customize often but I do keep the plugs when I do.
No G4 pets, I just throw them away- or send them to people who don't want them (like Shannon).
Not real big on candy- but sour candies or Skittles. Jolly Ranchers.
Beads and charms are fine.

Oh baits i don't mind if they are not prepped, yay necklace charms and jewellery stuff I love and i use tonnes of em! Scents i love too but I have ghot a fair few of the dollyhair scents! And the pets are cute too! As for sweets I love chocolate. sherbet, anything cherry flavoured, and anything I can't get here in the UK as I like to try new stuff! But no Cola sweets please urgh!

Prepped or not prepped is fine with me. I'm flexible. Candy is good, we lovelovelove sour things. I don't do anything with the g4 pets, but my kitties love knocking them around the floor!

OH MY GOSH! soo sorry iv been neglecting this site, life has been super busy xD but I have gotten a few things already for my partner. Now I will try to catch up with the questions, so here goes.
gradient dyed hair: I would love some, I also wouldn't mind odd amounts of "left over" hair, I never know what I will need and sometimes left over hair offers just enough to add a hint of extra color to a blend.
What about scents: Once again SURE! I have a hard time finding good ones around me, though I would prefer they NOT be floral scented. I like fruity things.
Would you like your bait already prepped? I don't mind if the paint and hair is removed, but if it can be helped I do prefer to remove the heads myself.
would you care for some G4 pets just as extra goodies? I'm not sure that I would actually use them, BUT like I mentioned before, I never really know what I'm going to need some day, so a few would be ok.
What kind of candies do you like to eat? I love fruity things, Pear flavored jelly bellys are a personal favorite and my son loves the orange crush flavor (he totally made me add that) xD I also like chocolate things like snickers, mikeyway, twix (any of that stuff really) and perpermint stuff. I cant have very chewy stuff though.
do you like necklace charms? I love them! lately iv been using them a lot in my customs, and just tiny beads and odds and ends as well.

sorry about the delay mystery partner lol ive been trapped in my colored pencils (and in various craft stores) so i missed this thread.
so ill catch up here then:
gradient hair: SURE lol i love all hair, as im new to customizing ponies i love love love the basics and i figure hair is the keystone to ponies =P
scents: havent really considered them myself but if you wanted to add some sure, but its not really necessary. i prefer soft flower scents, lavendar etc. cant handle the potent stuff tho. and baby powder scents =]
prepped baits: prepped or not is fine with me. =]
g4 pets: if youre desperate to get rid of them sure, but honestly im not really sure what they are so its no big deal (mostly a G1 girl, just started watching FiM and dont really plan on goin the G4 route, tho the show is great)
candies: i love gummy things, gummy worms, gummy bears, gummy cherries. hate jelly beans tho. love cinnamon, and milk chocolate with almonds etc
necklace charms: i love shiney things (as my partner will discover when they get their box) im kind of like a dragon on her hoard haha. but if you havent gotten any sparklies dont worry about it lol i have a TON as i do a lot of costuming for nerds, and have a compulsive urge to buy all that glitters.
just waiting for the hair to come in to add to my box, and any other random odds and ends ill decide at the last second to toss in, having waay too much fun with this. =]

Question: How do you feel about getting "donor" hair?
Personally I don't mind getting donor tails as long as they're not terribly frizzy, but I haven't quite figured out how to use donor manes.

i would take tails, but i have a hard time using manes because i use a variation on the floss and thread method and the mane hair is just a bit too short for it to work well... although i hvaent tried on g4s yet... but if you have a mane and tail you want to give, id be fine with thta!

I like donor tails, and mane if it's G3 length. Just *please* no Hearthrob-ish pink. For some reason, almost every bait I get has that pink hair, so I have a few extra tails already!

Don't really want, unless it's from applejack, or is the same color. A g4 mane, rerooted using the tool provides a show accurate short mane. I'm only interested in the one color though because it works for :muffin: Pony and I get lots of requests for her.

Anyway ... as Kiwi knows, I like my baits prepped. I hate, hate, hate prepping baits. I would love gradient/dyed hair and necklace charms. I'm also a fan of scents. XD I don't see much use in me having G4 pets as I do nothing with them.
And candy/no candy is cool with me. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but buying the items was the easy part. The hard part was finding them in my room after I bought them. I bought from 3 different stores and did 2 online orders over a months time. When I do that I tend to forget where I put certain items and it takes me forever to find them in my room again.

And I do want to thank y'all for your patience. As an idea of why I haven't been around I'll sum it up with working super long work weeks (50+) and my mother in law going crazy and threatening to kick us out, so I've been packing and cleaning and getting my car fixed and haven't had much computer access. I'm really sorry. Had I known this was going to happen, I wouldn't've started this swap. So. Anywho. (I need to pee, so I need to get started on these addresses! :D)

The yellow bait is lovely. Although I don't like yellow, that doesn't mean I can't make a wonderful custom with it. And I always can do a full body repaint if I want another color. lol. But you're right. Beach and water and everything... sounds great! :lovey:

I'm unable to post pictures at the moment, but I received my box today! I got some neat dragonfly wings, paintbrushes, some sculpting tools that are new to me. I got some glitter and little spinny packets of gem things. Inside were micro pearls (I think). I see them mentioned a lot but had no idea what they looked like. Then I looked at the packet and was like "Oh! This is it!" Curved hemostats. OMG the curve makes things so much easier! A neat little makeup case with assorted pockets and stuff that I can store brushes and stuff in. Ponies, Hair. So much fun stuff!
I can't wait to play with my new sculpting tools and my dragonfly wings especially!

I received my box from Eluluu today!!! It is so awesome. I am happy with all the ponies and hair and supplies :) The most exciting thing was totally an extra and it is *amazing*. She did a drawing of my avatar and it is so gorgeous. Love! The box also had some very eclectic things... I'm not sure exactly what to use the bunny fur for?! But it is very cool :D The tons of bait and old pony tails are giving me ideas already. This is such a cool swap!

I got mybox from enchantress o.o i did not expect such abig box! Just sooo much stuff xD i might try and take a picture when i get batteries for my camera but wow i was spoiled! I looove the baby TTT bait xD thats one of my fave baby poses! Also iv already got ideas for the lil fakie baby. She also got me looots of fabrics to try making clothes with, brushes, art pens, lots of cute charms/beads, hair! Iv never used katsilk before but i love the colors especially the pink, what else... XD lots of tools, sparkly glittery things, im forgetting a lot which is why i must just post a picture lol. Thank you so much enchantress! I got my box from Eviecorn! I adore all my items. Everything was in my favorite colors. I can't wait to start working on a custom. My favorite part of my box had to be the amazing hair blends and the amazing tiny brushes. One of the brushes was the tiniest I have ever seen. I also get to try out a new tool, a duo brush. I totally appreciate the apoxie sculpt. I was running low and I needed some to finish my custom for my butterfly pony swap. Now I am off to leave great feedback.

Ive had one packet mailed out that way go missing, and I really would hate for a second to happen as I really do not have the money to put together a second box at this time. :stressed:

Mine arrived! I got all sorts of awesome hair, paintbrush, some baits, things like itty-bitty clothes pins and straws, and a Newbie Swap pony, since Kiwi was my partner for both!

It's here i got it thank you! Silly posties keep not bothering to ring the buzzer when they delivered it and I had to rearrange delivery like twice already, but I got it today and yay thank you! There are sooo many cool goodies in there i already have plans for the fluffy rabbit fur I'm going to have a go at dying it later and some i think i will use on a white rabbit monster high custom! And a rehair tool too i have wanted to try one for ages now! In fact the stuff couldn't be more perfect the multicolour ribbon matches some other stuff i have been saving for a cyber custom and those little emery boards are fantastic I have used those tonnes already. And 2 giant lollies aswell, I am a very happy girl on a major sugar rush! Thank you!

Eeeh Maniah I have had so much fun playing with my new stuff, I just finished a cyber custom using the bait and some of the ribbons and have been playing with the glow in the dark powder and clear resin hopefully I when it sets I will have a gorgeous pair of glow in the dark wings! So much fun thank you!

i haven been part of this swap *wishes i had been* but seeing and hearing about all the things you have gotten is intriguing! there are so many things i would never have thought of using and im still very puzzled about what on earth you'd use others for haha. i would just like to thank you all for the little ideas that you have provided me with :)
