Childhood pony memories are the best, aren't they?  I grew up with the G1s too and I have all kinds of happy memories tied to them. I am so sorry to hear yours were given away!  A lot of collectors here have similar stories unfortunately. 

When I grew up I realised I had the power to begin my own Pony Land at home!

  Lmao. I discovered the same thing.  It's so exciting to have pony parcels show up at your house almost daily isn't it?  lol.  Like you, I have moved on to just collecting a few ponies that I really want now, rather than the binging I did when I first discovered ponies for sale online

That's so sad you sold your childhood ponies. Lots of people here have the same story of how they 'out grew' their ponies and now regret parting with them!  The things we do.    It's lovely you now have your daughter to begin collecting with again though.  The two of you can make new memories together - and when she gets old enough to sell her collection you will know to talk her out of it!  LOL.
