I think it is awfully cute, but I've yet to run into any that I've wanted to/could buy. I have, however, been giving strong consideration to making my own pony wear. I have this broken umbrella with great fabric on it, and I want to turn it into tiny scrunchies for my Tuneful.
I tried one with a no-sew method, but it didn't go too well... think I'm gonna have to switch to a good ol' needle and thread.

I think Pinkie Pie's for sure. I know the collector community's opinion of her as the annoyingly prevalent G4 toy, but she was my first G3 growing up. I have such fond memories of playing with her in her hot air balloon. And then when I got into FiM she became my favorite character. I love her bouncy hair and how fun and goofy she is. She will always be a special pony for me.
(Plus, her cutie mark is classic and cute imo. Would make a good tattoo.)

I just got a replacement for my 3ds for Christmas this year so I've been really having fun with Animal Crossing: New Leaf (still waiting for news on the new Switch AC...) and replaying Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest.
Beyond that though my whole college dorm floor just got really into playing Minecraft again so sometimes I join in and we all play together. It's great fun.

Oh goodness! They really are teeny tiny. How cute! It does bother me a bit, though, how low their tails are placed on their bodies. It just looks a bit odd...  Otherwise, though, I'm a fan!

I mean, I grew up with them and so I would definitely say they have the nostalgic values that I would associate with something vintage... but I am a youngster, haha. I'm 20 years old.
But then, on the other hand, it is weird to view something I played with as a kid as vintage. Does that mean I'm vintage? I certainly don't feel that way.

My mom and I cooked dinner together today. Just a simple dinner - pasta and green beans - but my mom was celebrating me being home for the weekend and popped a bottle of blood orange soda for me (and wine for her). We just chatted! It was nice.

I guess I am one of those people who is quietly happy they aren't completely scrapping the Mane 6, though that is mostly because I didn't care much for the G4 toys in the first place and really focused on the show. I do hope they've learned their lesson from this gen and will intoduce a wider variety of ponies, and not just remake the same ones over and over.
I think that variety may be the only thing that could make the current tiny, skinny models appealing to me. And, unfortunately, I don't see them going more toward the G1 styled models again...

Haha well. I don't know, I just think there's something so charming about the 80s ponies... even though I didn't grow up with them, I think they're so beautiful. I haven't yet wanted to collect the ponies from my childhood, but there are some pretty G3s out there so maybe I'll eventually pick a few up.

Hello, hello! My name is Gilly and I am really excited to be here on MLPArena! I'm a 20-year-old college student studying Journalism, and I just started collecting G1s very recently. I've been a pony fan off and on for years (loved G3s when I was little, then got into G4s in middle school... and now here I am...)
I started after a good friend of mine got the 35th Anniversary Minty and showed her to me. I was in love! I wasn't too familiar with G1s up to that point but I just loved how cute and chubby and colorful she was. So, for Christmas, that same friend got me three ponies (A vintage Surprise and Seashell, as well as a 35th Anniversary Minty of my very own). And I just got the bug!
My collection is very small at this point (just five ponies!) but I'm looking forward to growing it in the future. I've been looking for a good place to learn more about the hobby and find people to connect with over it.
Anyway, I'm excited to explore this new hobby of mine further and get to know everyone here. It's wonderful to meet you all!
