Anyone else excited for the Hoenn remakes? I sure as heck am!

With all those new info coming out in regards to the game itself as well as seeing all those fabulous megaevolutions, I just can't wait 'till the game finally comes out. Also, I already played the demo which only furthered my excitement.

Also, one thing about the demo: in this demo you'll be able to catch a Glalie (if you live in South Korea, Australia or anywhere in Europe) or Steelix (if you live in Japan) - both complete with a megaevolution stone, which then you'll be able to transfer into your full copy of the game. How cool is that?

The one thing that bums me out is the announced lack of patch for the Pokemon X and Y to allow the transfer of the Pokemon with their megaevolution stones from the ORAS games. That's a bummer...

But other than that I'm really happy to see these games come out, and I can't wait 'till I get my hands on my own copy of it (though I still can't decide which one to get...).

My hype has really subsided. It's a Pokemon game, and I can't wait to see Hoenn redone, so I'm sure I'll have tons of fun!

Really disappointed about the removal of trainer customization and the comment that it was 'Kalos-specific' meaning it might not even make it back for non-remake games. Oh, Gamefreak. *shakes head*

Preordered it last month Took some games to trade in so I preordered the game for only $15 I picked Ruby as that was the one I originally had. I haven't been to into the news. I mostly ordered it because I like Pokemon games and I basically have at least one version from each group they've done haha! I like being surprised

I preordered Sapphire! It comes out the day before my birthday so I know exactly how I'm gonna celebrate. Lying on the couch playing Pokemon all day!

What starter are you guys gonna pick? I'm probably gonna pick Treecko since it's my favorite of the Hoenn starters but the grass starters are always the hardest. Probably gonna trade some of my starters from X and Y.

Ruby was my very first pokemon game so I've been going crazy since the remakes were announced. My poor boyfriend has to deal with all of my excitedness. Cannot wait to play the demo

I preodered one for me and my brother.  The preview looks great.  The preorder bonus is amazing this time around can't wait for my charzard plush.

I put in my preorder for both of them last weekend at Toys R Us, also in the hopes of picking up the plush toy I can't wait for them to come out, though I am also bummed at the fact that you can't customize your trainer for this one I am hoping that option will return for the next new set of games and that it was just left out because ORAS are just remakes. Also, I want an Eevee mega-evolution! Eevee is literally the perfect candidate for a mega because it can evolve in to almost everything

I was somewhat excited, but now my excitement has sort of disappeared. Apparently I'm not the only one either, as I've had a handful of friends cancel their pre-orders. I still have my $1 pre-order card from Target but I'm on the fence about the game. Gen 3 was/is one of my least favorite generations, and there are maybe one or two new Mega Evolutions that I have an interest in this time around. Needless to say, I'm more excited for a possible Z version or a whole new generation.

So we'll see...

I'm really hoping I'll have fun with this game (if I do decide to buy it). I do love Pokemon, and I've been a fan since Red and Blue were first released here in the US, but I remember the disappointment I felt when I tried playing one of the gen 3 games for the first time. Perhaps a remake will make Hoenn a little more likable for me. Hopefully the demo codes will be sent soon, so I can start making my judgement then.

Give me Mega Flygon and Mega Milotic and I will be 100% sold on these games!

The North American and Japanese release is November 21st of this year. Europe will be getting it the 28th.

Preorders are open through wherever you buy your games. I went with Gamestop because I like their bonus (poster to add to my hoard) and the employees at my local Gamestop are pretty cool people.

There is a demo that will be released tomorrow via email offer from the Pokemon Trainer Club. If you haven't signed up, do it now! Their servers are gonna blow up. When you sign up, make sure the little box asking if you want promotion emails is ticked.

If you miss the demo through the PTC, Serebii lists other methods to get it. I'm planning on buying the Pokemon TCG game myself which comes with a demo code.
