Hey all, I am not new... but I haven't been on here in a GOOD while, so I thought I'd introduce myself again for everyone on here that got active in the time I was inactive, if that makes sense  My name is Daphne, I'm from the Netherlands and I work as a project manager. I started collecting MLP ten years ago and at the same time attended UK Ponycon for the first time. Over the years, I've met many people through pony collecting that I consider close and dear friends. I haven't been actively collecting for a few years now, instead spending my money on travelling and tattoos, but I still love the ponies and have stayed in touch through my 'pony'-friends. I'm attending Ponycon again in October and figured it would be nice to get a little more in the loop about what's going on in the community. Any questions, I'd be happy to answer! Nice to see this forum still going strong

Just curious! I realise not everyone can go into great detail, but I would love to know what you do in your daily life, since I think the lot of us here is a very diverse bunch with very different lives and I would like to hear about yours I currently work two parttime jobs. I have two Masters degrees (Celtic Studies and Latin) but unfortunately there aren't a lot of job opportunities in those fields. I have to keep busy though and of course need money to live and buy ponies with, so  First job is being a customer service manager for a big supermarket chain (comparable to Tesco's). I've worked for this particular store for a long time, I was a cashier there when I was a student and I love the customers. It's slightly boring, but pays well and I have lovely colleagues. The second job I started in January of this year, and I am very happy I was able to find this. I coach highschool students that have learning difficulties like ADD, ADHD and dyslexia. I also tutor several students: currently teaching Dutch, English, German, Latin and Greek. Now, let's hear from you guys I hope you will share!

Well, as the title says... I've got an extra Rainbow Flash (loose, but with accessories!) and a loose Skywishes. I can take pictures if you want, just let me know. What I am looking for: the Ponies from the Favorites collection. Loose is fine! Especially looking for Nightmare Moon, Lemony Gem, Flower Wishes and Trixie. Other G4 wants I might consider: Lyra Heartstrings Cherry Berry Sunny Rays Sweet Song Drop me a line if you're interested in trading

Just wanted to see what others think or maybe have some good advice.
I BIN'ed a MIB G4 pony on Ebay. Got it this week- wrong one. I bought original Pinkie Pie but received the one with the suitcase (which I just as easily could have bought in stores here... awesome). I let the seller know and they suggested I return it after which they will evaluate if the item is 'faulty' and if they will refund my postage and send me another one or refund me altogether.
Well, that's great, but Dutch mail (as many of you know) is insane and returning it would cost more than the pony&postage cost me... bit ridiculous if you ask me, it would mean the seller has a loss too if he has to reimburse me for shipping and ship the correct one to me...
So.... I want to suggest that I keep this one, and that he sends me the correct one which I will pay for while he pays shipping. What do you think? Reasonable suggestion?

I've been wanting to restore my Peru Parasol for a while, the poor thing barely has eyes. So I hope someone can share a pic which clearly show the eyes so that I (well- my husband, really, I have two left hands and he's a good painter, he does Warhammer) can fix them. It would be greatly appreciated!

So. After completing the first set of princesses (yes, with hats, wands, picks, ribbons, bushwoolies AND dragons!) I decided I needed another insane goal. So... why not collect the second set of princesses with their accessories?   I got lucky and acquired a complete Princess Taffeta from a friend's childhood collection. I also managed to lay my hands on a Princess Misty who I completed with her accessories, and I have a Princess Moondust en Princess Dawn. Thus, I need Pristina, Sunbeam and their accessories and accessories for Moondust and Dawn. Should be fun! Soooo.... tell me how your quest for the second set of Princesses has gone (or maybe is still ongoing). Who/what did you find hard to find? How much cash do I need to lay aside for this project? Just share all you know with me!

Hi all, since I think there are more people on this site who have done this before, I thought I'd put my question here, would be grateful for any help. OK, so there's this item on eBay that I really, really, really want. Like, NEED. Unfortunately, the seller will not ship outside of the US, I sent a message asking if they'd consider sending to Europe but no dice. Alright, I thought, no biggie, my brother happens to live in the US at the moment so I could get it sent there, right? Only... how do I go about that? eBay won't let me bid of course because my country is excluded. Could I add his address (to eBay or Paypal?), should I message the seller again and explain, or should I ask my brother to create an account and bid for me? Perhaps this is obvious, I just don't know what the best course would be Thanks for your help!

I am currently looking to buy a Molly and Baby Sundance I would love them to have their accessories (Molly's dress, socks, shoes, Sundance's bridle) It's to be a gift to my mom, because she is awesome! Yes, she does collect ponies too I'd preferably buy them together, but definitely willing to look at them separately. Hope someone can help!
