I grabbed the Loungefly wallet with Dream Castle and Skydancer on sale from Amazon recently, but some of the printing looks a little fuzzy and poor quality for Loungefly. Can anyone who has this wallet share some photos to help me figure out if mine is legit?
I wasn't around when these released so I don't know if there are any known quality control issues with the line.

I've heard so many horror stories over the years so I've done my best to avoid eBay as a seller. Unfortunately, I have some high value non pony items (special edition books) that aren't selling on FB and I really need the money for baby stuff before my daughter is born.
Is it safe to use eBay or is the possibility for scams/forced returns/etc just too high? Some of these books are $100-300+ a piece and I'm terrified of a scam or a forced return that has the book coming back in bad condition. Even unintentionally, its so easy for books to get damaged in the mail.

For their 35th anniversary, American Girl has re-released the first 6 dolls with their original outfits, accessories, and book! Rumors have been swirling around online for the last few weeks but Mattel didn't say a word until today when the line dropped. What do you guys think of this? I bought Addy as soon as she was available last night and I'll probably get Josefina when my Rewards come in. I was an avid reader of Toybox Philosopher for years and combined with Tumblr and the Arena, I knew pretty much everything going on in the doll world. I haven't been active for a couple years, TBP is over, and I don't use Tumblr anymore. Every time I walk down the toy aisles I have absolutely no clue what's going or or what stuff is good quality. Are there any dependable places for collectors to get news these days?

This is a bit off topic but I have no idea where else to post it. On May 18th I inquired about getting a ring made in a certain size from an Etsy seller. She let me know how much extra time it would take and how to order it. After trying on rings somewhere else we thought the one she had in stock would be the right size so on May 19th I ordered it and left a note letting her know the size was right after all. The ring arrived on May 27th and was way too big, like probably 2+ sizes too big, so I messaged the seller to ask her advice on what to do. The band is very thin so I didn't know if it would need to be resized in a certain way. She let me know a few resizing restrictions and suggested I take it to a local jeweler and see what they say. She told me to let her know how it goes. At this point I was planning to have to pay to ship it back to her, pay for her to resize it, and pay for shipping again. Annoying but whatever, its 100% our bad for not being able to figure out my ring size. I obviously had nothing against the seller or the ring and was just annoyed at myself. On the 30th I wore the ring to work for the first time (on the wrong finger, so it wouldn't fall off) because I was excited to show off our engagement a bit. At lunch the ring fell about 1-2 inches onto a table with very little force and one of the lapis lazuli stones immediately cracked and broke off completely. My fiance was gutted and I was just pissed. A few hours later, once we got off work and had calmed down, I sent a message to the seller letting her know what happened, expressing my disappointment, and asking to just return it. They accept returns in their shop but even if they didn't, clearly the ring is defective. It would've faced the same amount of fall/force if I put it on a post in a ring dish like I had planned to do. Its been 4 days and the seller has completely ignored my message. At first I was giving her the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was just a single unstable stone, as none of the others cracked, and didn't have any hard feelings. But now I'm getting really upset about this terrible customer service. Since she's refused to respond to my message its now past her listed "ship back within 7 days" return policy. She clearly has internet access because she's posted memes/pet pictures on Facebook every single day since I messaged her. (And I know for sure its her real FB account because I found her Etsy shop through FB.) Pictures can be seen here since I don't want to deal with resizing them to put in the post itself. I posted photos of the unbroken ring here. At this point I don't know what to do. Should I just open a case with Etsy at this point? Message her again and see if she'll stop ignoring me?

And got engaged!!!! After 9 years we finally decided it was the right time. We've been planning the wedding for months already and just got to the point of being so excited that we simply couldn't wait any longer to tell everyone. Its such a great feeling! I haven't been the most active in the pony world for a while but it just didn't feel right not saying something here with how much time I've spent here over the years! Long story short: the entertainment center I've been using as pony storage is going to start being used for its intended purpose so I need a new home for my ponies! I'd love to see photos of Ikea displays and know how many ponies fit in different pieces.
I'm looking specifically at Ikea since they're affordable and highly recommended in lots of collector circles. The only problem is that my state doesn't have an Ikea store so I'm having a lot of trouble visualizing how many ponies will fit in various things. Its easy enough to fit something to the space I have available but beyond that I'm totally lost. I've got about 70 G1s I'd like to display, even if its cramped, or about 100 ponies total if I empty the entertainment center drawers (which I don't have to do). Aside from space, dust is my biggest concern since I don't have time to constantly dust ponies.

So my friend and I went down an MLP rabbit hole today and she's really curious to see how the Surprise Twins mommy pony actually works. We couldn't find any videos or gifs of the mechanism. Does anyone know of any? Or can anyone waste some time to satisfy our curiosity? xD

I just found out about this collab and I'm so excited! I wish I could get my hands on the palette, Trickles highlighter, makeup bag, and individual shadows! I really wish there was more MLP branding on the actual products but overall I'm pretty happy. They tend to sell out very fast afaik but I don't know how much an MLP collection will impact that. They may or may not restock after it sells out, who knows. They're known for releasing tiny batches at a time that sell out only to get restocked, but there's no guarantees. The makeup brushes probably aren't worth the price but the MLP set isn't too overpriced. You could probably find identical brushes on eBay/Aliexpress without the MLP text. Colourpop has absolutely atrocious customer service, like horrendously bad, so be prepared to have to open a claim if they refuse to fix something. (They tend to try and get off with offering coupons to people if items arrive damaged, missing, etc. Don't let them.) Available at colourpop.com on October 5th at 10am PST!

All ponies have small expected G4 factory flaws. Eyes printed slightly off, head-body mismatch, scuffs, uneven hair, etc. Blind bags have the usual sloppy paint and glitter. Look carefully at all photos and ask questions before buying!All white-bodies ponies have noticeable head-body mismatch and look a little blue-toned now, especially their heads. Everything has been put away for a while so hair is messy and it could all use a bit of cleaning. Because some of these are so cheap I have a minimum purchase amount of $6. I'm trying to help a friend of mine figure out what this toy from her childhood was. Here's her description: "It was a remote controlled robotic rex-type dinosaur. The remote was wired and looked like an egg. The dinosaur was mostly black/metallic colors, had red lights for eyes, and roared."
She's done a lot of Googling herself and I poked around a bit but neither of us could find anything.

I was hoping to do a more traditional trade but since stuff keeps coming up and eating all the fun money I figured I'd just post anyways. The ponies are worth a fair bit and what I want is super cheap so maybe it'll be a good deal for someone out there anyways!  I would prefer to trade as much as possible to a single person to help balance out the costs. I'm interested in BAIT G1s. Any ponies, any quality, any flaws. If "bait" means a dirty pony to you, I want it. If "bait" means a pony cut in half, I want it. Haircuts, no hair, dirty, scratched paint, no paint, marks, names, cuts, rips, tears, rust, smooze... doesn't matter what ails, I want it! Doesn't matter how common, doesn't matter if I have them already (although I do have a Sundance army I'd love to expand), doesn't matter what their mold is. These ponies will NOT be customized. They will be cleaned and added to my collection, either restored to some degree or loved just as they are. I might also be interested in common G3s but I'd want them to be decent quality. Small marks might be okay, messy hair is fine, but no serious flaws. I have a wishlist I can link to anyone interested but its not a big deal. I just don't want doubles. Last week we ordered an external hard drive on Amazon. It was supposed to arrive today but never did. I just woke up and had my boyfriend check the tracking to see what was going on. On Amazon it says the package was out for delivery around 8am, is being returned to the sender immediately, and we'll get a refund when it arrives. This is the very first day its been eligible for delivery and gone out so obviously that makes no sense.
We checked the tracking number on UPS (which is seriously the WORST delivery people here, by far) and it says the package was refused because the customer didn't order it. Obviously they're so incompetent they tried to deliver it to the wrong apartment. I'm glad the other person was honest but this is ridiculous. We're furious and stunned. We've ordered from Amazon many times and my "add-on" item from the same order (that shipped separately) arrived just fine. There is no problem with our address unless Amazon screwed it up themselves.
I can't even properly put into words how angry we are right now. We're planning to call UPS in the morning, since they're closed now, but is there anything else we can do? I don't know if the workers start doing stuff before the phones open up or anything like that. If we lose this external hard drive, we won't be able to afford another one. This was the only one at that price point.

A friend sent me a gift today and I'd love to know if anyone has an idea how long packages are taking to arrive from the UK to the US on average right now? I know customs can mess things up but with how horrible our winter has been I'd really like to have an idea. With all the ice/snow its unsafe/impossible to check the mail lately but I don't want it sitting out for too long in the cold! It was more than likely sent the cheapest way possible, no tracking or anything, and is in a box if that matters.
