Anyone have Mercari and wonder why their notifications are silent?

So I have the selling app Mercari, and I don't like how when you get notified of anything that the notifications don't vibrate your phone like most notifications. To me it is annoying because it only shows up with no vibration. It is also helpful when I am in class and I don't need to look at my phone. Anyone else have this issue?

I actually dislike most notifications so I turn them off.

I have checked multiple times. It shows "sounds" are enabled. I can try writing an app store review maybe
