Thats the pits but at least they had the decency to tell you rather than just never pay and say nothing.  Probably a good case of buyers remorse or buyer nerves.  This is why a lot of sellers have pay immediately with their bins.

I would rather have them BIN never pay and not say anything then BIN and message me less then an hour later saying they can't buy this right now. You shouldn't BIN anything if you have no money to pay. I've had the Pay Immediately on my BIN auctions before and it was too much of a hassle for buyers wanting to purchase multiple items and wanting combined shipping as in 1 invoice (refunding the overpaid shipping is pain). Either way the item is still tied up until the buyer agrees with the cancel transaction I sent this morning, they have 7 days to respond to that before I can get my fees reversed.

Trader & Shipping Support / New eBay buyer to add to block list.
« on: April 29, 2013, 04:37:10 PM »
Like the title says.... Buyer did a buy it now and less then 1 hour later message me saying sorry they can't buy this right now. The id is thespartanpony. eBay should have mandatory tutorials for new eBay accounts explaining how eBay works and take a short test before they can bid or buy it now anything.

Not your fault they stole my pic.  ;) Hopefully the people you contacted whose pics she is currently using will report her. She is supposedly posting her ebay listing with ebay mobile smart phone app. How hard is it to snap a pic with said smart phone?.... unless you are selling damaged items to begin with.

I know it is not my fault, but i empathise.  :) I had a pic of mine stolen here recently too, and it was by the person who bought the item, so i understand the frustration.

I understand you. It's just not the first time people have stolen my ebay pics either as I have been on there since 2002. The thing that makes me frustrated about it is when things like this happen. I feel bad for the person that bought the Crystal Lace from this person as she obviously didn't get what she paid for from what the feedback she gave the seller reads. I'm tempted to contact her and tell her that the seller used my pic and provide her with my ended listing number so maybe she will open a claim against this seller too. I feel bad for you too as this seller has sold you something less then what you expected with a stolen pic.

Yes Greywolf I did, that is ironic...sorry they stole your pic. I contacted everyone whose picture they took for current listings to let them know, hopefully they report them.

I guess I just want to see how they respond first, but it is like...really? You didn't think I would notice?

Its just weird as they have great ratings, ones a top rated seller...

Names are traxsidecafe and firerescuehog

Ok definetly add traxsidecafe. They are stealing pics from other's listings!! Beware!! They have multiple pony listings and it turns out all the pics are being taken from ended listing of other people's ponies, mostly from mistyblu*

Just checked traxsidecafe completed listings and she used my Crystal Lace pic  and ironically I think you bought that pony from me on ebay back in November. I'll have to keep a watch on this seller to see if she ever uses any more of my pics so I can report her if she does.

Just checked her feedback to see if the buyer that bought her Crystal Lace had left feedback and she got a neutral --Box arrived destroyed due to poor packaging. Not paying to return broken item!--

I just don't understand why the buyer would uncombine the invoice and pay for just 1 pony. Even if the buyer is uncombining the invoice and has now paid for the pony that didn't get paid for the 1st time payment was sent. It just doesn't make sense why the buyer is telling me it won't let them pay for the 2nd pony again when I sent a new invoice just for that pony? I sent the money request through paypal July 25 when the buyer told me it wouldn't let them pay again because payment was refunded. So the buyer has had the paypal money request since July 25 and messaged me today and said "still have no option to pay" (yes that is the whole of the response). I messaged the buyer July 27, 28, and again this morning mentioning the paypal money request I have sent only to get the above quoted message from the buyer this afternoon. It's like the buyer hasn't even read the messages I have sent about the money request or even read the money request email and money request reminders that paypal should have sent.  The 3 messages I have had from the buyer have been single sentence replies and there was no communication from the buyer for 5 days from July 25 until today.

I have a buyer that won 2 different single pony auctions from me Sunday July 23. I sent a combined invoice the next morning with shipping cost reduced to of course try to save the buyer on postage. I get home from work Monday afternoon and see that they made payment so I proceed to pack up the 2 ponies when I logged in to paypal and see they only paid for 1 pony. I have my eBay preference set for the buyer not to be able to change anything in the eBay checkout....... So I issued a refund with a note explaining what happened and resent the combined invoice. I wake up the next morning and the buyer sent payment again for only 1 pony and a message through eBay wanting to know why I refunded in the 1st place. I messaged the buyer back explaining why I sent the refund and that I had sent a note with the refund and explained that they have only paid for 1 pony. So I sent an invoice for the 2nd pony asking for payment. The buyer messaged me back July 25 telling me the eBay checkout won't let them pay??? So I sent them a money request directly through paypal that included the eBay auction title and item #. I went 5 days with no further communication from the buyer or payment. The buyer messaged me today July 30 around 2:45pm est saying the still have no option to pay... I reminded them of the money request I have sent them through paypal and directed them on where to find the information on eBay's customer support page on how to directly pay for eBay items through paypal. I have shipped out the 1 pony they paid for this morning because I didn't want them opening a item not received case against me since I held the item for 6 days trying to save them on postage cost. So has anyone else had issues like this with eBay's checkout magically un-combining invoices when you have your preferences set to not let a buyer change anything in the eBay checkout?   I'm just glad I was paying attention and did't ship both ponies when only 1 pony had been paid for.

"(although I did try, my postal service said they don't do confirmation numbers)" if you are in the US the post office does have tracking numbers if the package is being sent outside the US by first class mail international it is called registered mail (it costs $11.75) you also have to seal all the box seams with brown paper tape so it can be round dated stamped. The people at the post office should have known that or suggested you ship priority mail international. Do you have your post office receipt with the customs number on it? You can get limited tracking with those numbers on the usps.com website.
