Ember1 ~ would you believe it I put BBE Sundance when I meant BBE Sunlight, I have Sundance on the brain! I think factory errors need their own thread. I still have the pictures of Moondancer and Milkyway which you donated to the gallery. The gallery still needs a little work after its "holiday"

Lady Starflower ~ added! I missed her.

Lunar ~ I would love a picture of MOC white Bluebell for the gallery

LadyMoondacer ~ please can we see some picture of her I too have been wondering if it is the same pony as in the catalogue too.

Callista ~ I just want to keep this thread for HK and China ponies it might get too chaotic! We will do the other countries in time

Einhornbaby ~ she would come under "unfinished"

KitKat ~ I was never quite sure where to put her I think she does need to be "rehomed" in the gallery.

Daisy ~ I vaguely recall her this lilac eyed Moonstone needs to be researched as does purple eye Skydancer. I am wondering if the corral might be the best place? Lets see how it goes!

Sflame ~ she does and she is in the list as "unfinished as she has no symbol.

I'm kinda reluctant to do that at this stage. I'm still convinced she's a custom. *shrug*

Im sorry you feel that way loa thiugh your entitled to your opinion for sure. 

I completely disagree and im the only one that has seen her in person and been able to make a comparison. I have posted many photos with evidence to suggest that shes not a custom. From her factory rooted head to her similarities to paintingtime Proto.

I would like to point out that there is also no sure way to tell painting time and her sisters are not customs either.

I have updated the list with a few more ponies that I have remembered and that others have suggested 

I have changed some of the "categories" due to new information and terminologies given to us by princessluna11706.

I have moved some of the ponies about pending further investigation. Some we know a little about and others we have no information on other than a fuzzy picture. If a pony comes under the "pending further investigation" it simply means more research is needed.   

If a pony is not shown in the gallery it simply means that the owner of said pony has never donated a picture. It is in no way a refection on authenticity of the pony as to whether or not it is in the gallery. Ponies may added, removed or moved as new information comes to light or as images are donated.

It is not my intent to cause upset or offence and the list in this thread is certainly not the be all and end all, it is simply a place to gather information

Aww thank you PKW, I'm so touched that I was able to help :hugs:  I'm sure you can add the photos of the pilot and master skin girls, as well as the clay molds to the gallery (I can edit my photos for you) as they are 100% Hasbro authentic prototypes.

She's labeled "Bubbles prototype" on My Little Wiki, but do we actually know if she's meant to be Bubbles?  To me it looks more like she's based on the prototype of Minty, who had a speckled symbol like Cotton Candy.

(All the Collector ponies were originally slated to have Cotton Candy's symbol, only in different colors--you can see them in their commercial.)

I thought she was more of a Cotton Candy myself. I've seen that one in person at the 2008 Fair . Don't think she was wax though... was more like clay or something? I'm not an expert on materials though.

huh. I think that may even be my photo on the wiki? I don't remember donating it...

That is most likely clay You can see what a wax pony looks like in the other thread.  They're a hollow separate head and body, the head does not fit in due to a plastic tube in the neck.  I do remember that from the 2008 fair

I can put my two sense in because I am also a sculptor and have done a lot of work in clay.. I don't see any area in that model which is hollowed out.. You can't put a big block of clay like that pony in a kiln because she might blow up.. Air pockets are always within clay no matter how much you need them out.. In a kiln the pressure and heat gets so great that the air pockets expand and burst through the clay.. I had the unhappy experience of seeing my work shatter more than once due to not hollowing out my pieces.. I never made that mistake again lol..Now they might have had a low fire kiln for such work but I cringe think of trying and make something like her and stick her in a normal kiln.. Bye bye pony!'


So I think she might be made of resin.. That would make sense since she seems solid.
