Show Me: Deflocked So Soft Ponies

So Soft ponies were some of my other childhood toys I affectionately remember playing with when not riding my real pony.  I'm considering re-collecting this line of ponies (lost all mine in a house fire many years ago).
But, due to their age, a lot of them have major flocking loss, so...

Show me pics of your Deflocked So Soft ponies.  Would love to see what they look like with the flocking removed.  :)

Awww! I am so sorry that you lost yours, luckily there are many in the world to spare so you can regain your collection! I don't have any to show sorry. Just wanted to give pony hugs beacuse you lost your fluffys.

Aw, how sweet of you! :) I was a teenager when it happened - and thankfully my family was out at a baseball game when it happened, but all were lost/melted/ruined. I had SO MANY G1s, too.  Over the past two years, I've been slowly recollecting my favorite sets (completed the Twinkle Eyed Ponies and Flutter Ponies) in January.  Now moving on to collecting others.  The SS were another set I really loved, so I plan to add them to my collection. 

Very curious to see what they look like minus their flocking, though.  Hopefully some sweet arena members will have some pics to share.  :)

Here are the ones I've done so far. Got 3 more in the works - 1 already deflocked but out sunfading, and 2 waiting to be deflocked. Hopefully I'll get to them this week :)

Shady was my first ever deflock, and when she came out looking so awesome, I was hooked on deflocking!

Wow, shadowlark, those girls look awesome! :dribble: I've never done any deflocking myself--the So Softs I have are in fine condition--but it seems to have done wonders for you! I'll be watching this thread to see what other people have done. ^.^

Shadow lark, they're beautiful deflocked! Guess I'm gonna  need doubles of all of them (one flocked set & one defrocked set). Lol

I just won what appears to be a lovely lot of six SS ponies on eBay. Can't wait to see them! :)

Thanks! It can be a pain to deflock sometimes, but so worth it in the end. I also want doubles of each - I've got Magic Star and Lofty that are flocked from when I was a kid, but want to find nicely flocked versions of all of them and have a flocked set and a deflocked set.

I'll add the others once they're done too. I have Paradise deflocked but she was yellowish so trying to sunfade her, and I have a North Star and Best Wishes waiting to be deflocked. I have a deflocked Truly around somewhere too, but she's still in a box I haven't unpacked from moving last month :)

Oh I have a So Soft Twilight that I did. I will have to get some pictures up of her later on. This girl was my first one that I ever did and first re-hair also :)

All those deflocks are really beutifull. Wouldn't mind having some of  them. Really great thread, thanks for that :D
I'm intriqued if deflocking leaves any marks on the pony.

And oh look at that deflocked Heart Throb - I WANT SO BAD. If you want to sell her lmk. lol Same with Surprise. I'm a crazy for painted symbols.
