Hi ponies,
I had purchased a cheap pony off of eBay. The box from the seller arrived today...
It had baby pony accessories in it, and not the pony I ordered.
I checked the seller's sold items- someone else had bought the accessories! :cry:
So someone out there has a BBE lickety split in a nightgown while I got the accessories they ordered.
I've message the seller, but is there anything else I can do? :(

Ooh. I'm sure this was an honest mistake. Just wait for the seller to get back to you, because I'm sure the other person is just as baffled as you are and arrange to exchange your orders.
I'm not sure what the policy is, if one person doesn't cooperate though.

I’m sure it was a mistake. Sellers are human after all. I have no advice to give, but I’m sure the seller will be able to exchange them. And I’m sure eBay has a policy for this,as it must have happened before. Not sure what it is though...

I had that happen one time ... non pony though. The seller was very apologetic. She paid for shipping to return the incorrect package. Shipped the correct package as soon as she received it from the other buyer. If the other buyer doesn’t cooperate, I assume there is nothing the seller can do but refund you. In that case, the seller may even let you keep the items rather than pay to have you ship them back.

Same thing happened to me (see my post). Got the pony I wanted in the end (she gave me her pony) sent the wrong one back to her. Don't know what happened to the pony that I brought from the seller.
As buddyboymama said, if the other buyer doesn't cooperate the seller would have to refund you.

So the seller got back to me! Luckily they were very understanding, and will cover all the expenses to mail it to the other person. Yay! :biggrin:
