when should we expect to see rainbow dash and applejack? has anyone found them yet?

I checked her over and her skirt can be removed and the massive train on the back is connected. Underneath the plastic top and boots there is a jumpsuit. Her legs don't have joints but her arms do. No, unfortunately her hair doesn't stay in place as in the box (I figured it wouldn't but something I didn't notice until today is that her hair is two-tone, two different shades of green. Others may have known that from the start but I didn't. LOL! Also, her hair is incredibly silky. The best ever. I'm almost tempted to take the twists out but I won't. I seriously love the Mane-iac doll. I didn't know if I would but I do.

that's great she has nice hair what with all the poor quality hair we've seen in both the dolls & ponies lately.
thanks for sharing all this about her! i can't say I'm a huge fan of her over all design and character but i can definitely appreciate that she's a very unique addition to the eqg line

well mystery solved, she has no leg articulation! lol but in hindsight I kind of expected that cuz she has those thigh-high boots so I guess it would be practical for her to have knees that bend.

Are the Rainbow Rocks doll any better quality wise than the first collection of dolls? I'm not really Huge into them but I've found I must like them enough because I own 4 of them, lol. I really didn't plan on getting any more but I'm really starting to love DJ Pon-3.

However, I really wasn't impressed at all with the quality of the 4 dolls I own and I don't think I would have ever paid full price for any of them, I got them all on clearance. Are the new dolls any better. Right now I'm really only interested in DJ but I may be willing to shell out for her if her hair isn't that tangly cheap crap used on the original dolls.

I just got the movie accurate rarity today and her hair was a dry, ratty mess. I soaked it in some fabric softener hoping it would help but it still feels like straw :/ my 1st wave rarity actually had much nicer hair than this one. over all though her face-up and outfit are really nice. I'll probably try flat ironing her hair next time or something to try and tame it some more.

So has the mystery of the EQG Mane-iac's knees been solved?

I check here, tumblr & flickr pretty often to see if anyone has posted any detailed, out of box pix of her but so far, nothing :/

No. Certain ones don't. The new Equestria Girls Collection dolls don't have them and the majority of non-mane 6 characters don't have them either, as well as some of the variants.

good to know, thanks! sounds like they're fazing out that feature, I can't say I really mind them either way though cuz it's pretty easy to just cut them off.

yeah they are a bit much for what you get in terms of quality and detail. I've always felt the small box dolls should be $10 while the big box ones should be about $15.

I found the show accurate EG dolls at my TRU too, but I'm stuck as to whether to buy any or not yet. I only want Rarity, but I really wish she were articulated. But their faces look so much better now!

you could put her on mh spectra or catrine body, that's what I plan on doing. the skirts and shoes will fit but idk about the rubber tops. I'm also considering making a twilight using jane boolittle.
