Hi! I go by Switch, I'm a 20 year old from NorCal and I'm a full time college student.
I pretty much grow up with my little pony, particularly Gen 3, but I did see some of the G1 cartoons as a kid too. I've had a small army of G3 ponies since I was little, but I only really got into collecting and restoration earlier this year after I unearthed my collection of childhood G3s (thankfully only one or two were missing) and decided to clean them up and put them back on display. Most of my collection is made up of my childhood G3s and ones I've thrifted recently, but I have several G4s and four original G1s now and I'd like to get more. Seeing the 35th Anniversary re-release G1s made me really appreciate the design and quality of the G1 toys so I got into collecting them, too...
My favorite ponies are G3 Star Catcher, G4 Rarity, G1 Princess Primrose, and G1 Baby Chuck E Cheese (the last of which I'm still trying to get my hands on...) My younger sister also likes MLP and we watch FiM or the older cartoons together sometimes. I really enjoy thrifting for ponies and especially restoring them when I can, it's one of my favorite hobbies now!
