Recently, I've seen this photo circulating on social media (usually through aesthetic accounts):

A "My Little Pony Personal Stereo Cassette Recorder with Headphones," but I can't find any information on it besides this Amazon UK listing (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Toy-Brokers-Personal-Cassette-Recorder/dp/B0007XC1HU) (out of stock).
It states it was (supposedly) first listed at the beginning of 2002 (likely a placeholder date) and by the company "Toy Broker." There's also a logo for something named "Ideal." Which leads me to this item:

"My Little Pony Walkie Talkies," detailing its features: "Flexible Antenna, Battery Operated, Powerful Signal, Push to Talk," also found on Amazon UK (https://www.amazon.co.uk/My-Little-Pony-Walkie-Talkies/dp/B0002CYUF2).
Similar packaging, same companies and labeling, and similar use of pony stock art. Dated as the beginning of 2004 (again, placeholder likely). I can't find anything else on this item either.
If anyone has any other sightings and/or information, I'd gratefully appreciate it! :nerdy:

*grabs snacks and runs* Both exist for sure. The might have been by a licensee in Europe which is probably why you don’t see them much

Yes, they exist and I have both...somewhere in storage. They are probably UK exclusive items, and were harder to find even at the time. I think mine came from Toymaster, but I kind of vaguely remember seeing the walkie talkies in another shop too, maybe a department store like Fenwicks or Beales.
Ideal still exists: https://www.instagram.com/idealgamesuk/ I think they made a few G3 merchandise items in the early days. Pretty sure these were in the shops around 2004.
