It sometimes happens, that people add something extra to ponies that they sell, but this one is so far the best that I got :D

Pony Corral / Some help with taming the tinsel please
« on: April 13, 2013, 10:31:36 AM »
So after I removed plastic wraps from a new pony, something like this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIWiFUGxr0c#t=41s... actually it looked like this

I applied normal means of shaping pony hair, but while the hair does behave, tinsel just go all over the place. The best so far, that I came with, is this:

and it's far from satisfying ><
So is there any secret way to tame the tinsel? Thanks in advance!

Pony Brag Arena / It was a good month for ponies^^
« on: February 19, 2013, 10:21:47 AM »
Soon I will really need to think about some "30 days no ponies challenge"... and for a dedicated pony shelf  :yikes:

Anyway!

Cookery ponies 75% complete! BTW I'm still looking for Nice and Spicy^^

This one is especially important, since Cherry Sweet was my first pony ever, and as a kid I was always looking at the backcard and wishing I could have all four of them... seems I had to wait over twenty years for this :P

Ringlet!

I'm still wondering what to do with her hair. I recurled the white strip of her mane (was really frizzy), but the other strips still have some curls, and are so tangled, that it would be hard to separate different colors... so I'm stil thinking about it.

Star Swirl!

I always wanted this pony, and I got her for half of her usual Ebay price. So I'm double happy^^

And finally some plot ;)

Pony Corral / Is hair conditioner 100% safe on pony hair?
« on: January 11, 2013, 01:40:32 AM »
This weekend I want to try some hair styling with my Lemon Drop, and before that, I would like to wash her hair. But I would just kill myself (not literally ;) ) if human chemicals (namely hair conditioner) would cause loose of color, or other nasty things.
So question for those, who tried: is it 100% safe?

Pony Corral / Cherry Sweet - anypony knows, anypony seen?
« on: December 04, 2012, 10:48:29 AM »
I'm looking for some info about this pony:
http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Cherry_Sweet
How rare is she, how much should she cost?
I've found some finished auctions on ebay that ended in range of $5 - $15, but now there is auction going on, with "buy now" price of  $100... what's the reason for such spread of prices?
Cherry Sweet is a pony,  which I had as a child, and I'd want to get it again, but not for $100

I found one pony on Etsy, that I really like, though I have a problem with delivery terms.
The seller is in USA, and the price of delivery to Europe on the listing is $4, and according to my knowledge, this is too cheap to be a tracked parcel. I really need this to be tracked (I had some bad experiences in the past), so I asked the seller about additional cost of tracking. She answered, that she will look into it, and since that - silence.
So I checked the USPS website by myself, because I wanted to ask her to relist the pony with increased cost of delivery -  and it turns out, that the cheapest tracked delivery to my country is $43 (Express Mail International, and I entered 12 ounces weight), that is more, than price of the pony itself.
So do I get the USPS prices right, or did I miss something in those tables?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Introductions / Hello :)
« on: November 27, 2012, 05:11:23 AM »
I was told to make an introductory post, so here it is^^

My name is Michal, i'm 31 years old and I live in Poland.
I had a few MLP toys in childhood (strange thing that my parents didn't mind buying those things for a boy), but my interest towards MLP really started with the FiM series... yeah I know, so mainstream.

About my interest in pony-related toys: At first I was disappointed with Hasbro toys as they were not always good quality and not really accurately resembling the show characters, so I started searching for a more accurate hand made plushie... while browsing deviant art, I discovered whole world of beautiful ponies, both plushies and customized hasbro baits (bait, that's how you call it, right?).

My "collection" currently consists of one pony, a plushie Lyra Heartstrings (I would post a deviantart link of the maker, but I'm not sure if it's ok with forum rules), but it will certainly grow up, cause I want my home to be as filled with ponies, as my brain is ;) Certainly I will get another one before Christmas (I have two on my eye, but I will have to pick one, as my "pony fund" is sadly not unlimited).

And here is a photo of my Lyra and my cat (he is not a plushie, he's real btw ;) )
