I'm Gonna Be A MOMMA!!!

Yes, yes, yes!  For those of you that know all the crap I went through in the past years, my new husband and I recently found out that we are expecting!  This will be my first baby ('bout time at age 30, right?) 

We've been to the GP, and our first OB appnt is on December 2nd.  We figure we're about 8 weeks, and will be due in early July.   We're big patriots, so are hoping for an Independence Day baby.

We've both been wanting a baby (we got married in January), and are both ecstatic!  It's kinda weird, because I was always the one to babysit everyone else's kids and worked in day care and never had kids of my own... but that's soon to change, yay!

Anyway, thought I'd share the wonderful news with you all. ^-^

First, congrats!!! I always told myself I'd have a child before 30 and I made it with barely 2 months to spare!

I went on a diet change the moment I found out I was pregnant and tried to keep as busy as possible right up until I had her. The horrible vague aches and nausea went away relatively quickly and I didn't gain much size or weight until right at the end when, quite frankly, I couldn't move much because I felt like a beached whale. If you listen to what your body is telling you, take it easy as much as you can, and don't panic you'll do fine. I had the "fear is the mind-killer" spiel memorized for a bit there.

I have an 18 month old son, and I'm 32 so I was right there in your shoes age-wise. Its a very exciting time & life is never dull when you have a little one. All the best to you, my dear!!
