I am someone who has never owned a doll in her life, but when the MH dolls started coming out I was intrigued, but never enough to buy one. The Equestria Girls dolls hit a sweet spot for me though, and I had to get a couple.

I mainly got these two because I wanted the ponies that came with them for potential future baits, but I also may customize the dolls too. But I also really like Twilight and Celestia, and I've grown fond of them on my desk, so I might have to wait until I can get a replacement pair before I start destroying them.

I'm not crazy about the quality either though. The hair falls out easily, and pretty much right out of the box, Celestia's wings broke, which pissed me off. I also think the click-on boots with no feet is weird and silly. But I do really like the ponies that came with them...

It is weird though; these are the first dolls I have ever owned in my life.

I can't think of any I've seen, but I'm sure they're out there.

I would love to do a Frodo pony... That would be adorable :3

Welcome! Twilight is also my fav, but the princess transition didn't bother me as much...

Welcome, happy to see you finally joined. lol, if you keep looking at the new LPS they will grow on you XD the fairy ones are particularly adorable- I don't even collect them but I still ended up with a few.

I don't know, man. I nostalgia pretty hard for my old-school pets. I liked that they were more realistic. I remember every single one I had, even some of the names I had for them...:

I couldn't find a picture of the last one, but it was a little dog crate with 3 tiny dogs, and the crate opened up into a playset like a Polly Pocket.
It is really tempting to recreate this collection. I regret giving them up.

I hated the newer G4 design of the ponies when I first saw it; only reason it eventually grew on me was because of the awesome characters.

I had that same bunny set and the Hamsters XD this one was my favorite childhood one I still have the whole set :)

OH MY GAWD YES that's IT! :D thanks!

The critters that come with some of the ponies work well for me for pets. Not sure you'll ever be able to sell me on the new LPS stuff :P

I have full sets of the posters you're talking about, though those are for Season 2 and I don't know if they make them in any larger sizes. I think there is a full cast Season 1 poster in a larger size like that, but it's really rare and really expensive if you can even find it.

Welcome to the herd ;P
I have a 20-month-old and he loves playing with my ponies. Consequently, a few of the ponies in my collection are not exactly in mint condition anymore... ^^; I love seeing other parents sharing MLP with their kids! (Need more baby brony playdates, imo)

Hello Everypony! Princess Gryph here, custom pony artist. I have been collecting ponies for years (Gen 3 is my fav) and I had always been inspired to do custom ponies, ever since I was a teenager and saw lots of artists' amazing work in the DeviantART community. But I didn't get started myself until FiM started up and the bronies swarmed the fandom. I have been an active member of the herd since Season 1, when I took advantage of my Toys-R-Us discount at work and bought some supplies to start doing customs for fun. A little practice and a few months later, I was swamped with commissions, gobbling up all my free time until it became a second job. XD Plus, I started making tons of new friends (and isn't that what it's all about?) I'm a mod of the Central Florida Bronies Facebook Page, and have hosted meet ups and gone to multiple events and made lots of friends within this group.

I have come a long way in my crafting skills in the last three years. As much as I love the art, helping young people in my community is my real passion. I worked for a while at a runaway shelter, but right now I'm a stay-at-home mom to my 20-month-old son, who we call Fiver. I hope to get a job as a case manager one day, or maybe go back to school for my social work or clinical psychology masters. But I also love writing, and may begin to pursue that as a career option instead. Who knows. We'll see where life takes me.

Please check out my work and follow me on DeviantART, Tumblr, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, even Ebay... Wherever you do all your social networking business. I'm seriously everywhere these days.

Edit: omg, this site has lots of LPS fans too?! *squee!* I had a couple MLP when I was little, but I was crazy in love with my LPS toys. Why oh why did I ever get rid of them?! The newer big-headed googly-eyed stuff is so laaaaame.... T_T
