As for Hasbro, not sure. It doesn't bother me personally but it seems enough of an issue with fans and collectors that they should probably consider changing her. They did make Celestia white after enough complaints. There are a few new Luna releases coming out that seem to follow the same old scheme. I'd hold out for Funko if you don't mind the lack of brushable hair.

I agree that Rarity sounds like a pretty name for a girl, but once people find out you're an MLP fan it will become very obvious where the inspiration came from. Your child may have mixed feelings about being named after a cartoon pony later in life. And of course, if your girlfriend doesn't like it, I wouldn't push her on it. Congrats to you both btw!

My mother chose my birth name from a character on a TV show she liked. Granted, it's a common name and was especially popular the year I was born. I'm not sure how I would feel if she had named me after a cartoon character, particularly one with an unusual name.

I don't mind naming pets after TV show characters though, but that may be because I named both of my childhood cats after famous TV cats -- Tom and Salem. I was a little kid when I named them but I'd probably still name a pet after a character I like if I thought it suited them.

Lastly, really cute Hello Kitty stickers and adorable pencils. You can't really see em through the bubble wrap but one is Rilakkuma and the other has chubby rams.

This was my first ever private swap!! I had so much fun. Zapper is an amazing swap partner. Thank you so, so much for everything!! I'm so excited about everything and can't wait to put these stickers to good use.

I was because white Celestia is SO PRETTY. I love white ponies. Anyway, Pinklestia is cute in her own right. She feels like a MLP that way. I like them both. I was happy when they made her white for the Crystal line. I was happy with her cute Pink booty too.

tbh, I'm surprised they haven't made a G4 game yet (beyond the phone app and whatever little flash games they have on the official site), just given the entertainment market for kids nowadays. I think it would sell quite well. But I doubt it would be on a console. Probably the 3DS, something portable and more accessible for kids to play. Weren't there some G3 games for the DS?

I've always been fond of Fable and games like it. A kid-friendly version of that with ponies could be neat depending on how it's executed. I could do without the warring though.
