Roger Waters - The Wall live

This is kinda an off topic brag of last night. I posted back in I think December, about how I got tickets to see Roger Waters performing The Wall live at the Key Arena in Seattle, and it finally happened yesterday. The best 2 and a half hours of my life. I sang literally the whole time, and did that arm hammer thing during In The Flesh, Run Like Hell, and Waiting for the Worms. And he also did the full, unreleased version of The Show Must Go On, instead of the shorter version on the album. The puppets were amazing.
 
Of course, it can't be a Pink Floyd concert without a giant inflatable pig at some point, which appeared in In The Flesh. So, yeah, me and my dad rocked out last night, and it was awesome.

That's really cool! Roger Waters is great. Seeing him perform "The Wall" must have been absolutely superb, because that's completely his element. I hear it's a particularly spectacular show, too!

It was pretty fun. My hands were hurting from clapping though. When I was washing my hands in the ladies' restroom, there was this girl who appeared to be 10 walking to the sink. She looked at me and said "That was scary.". It was pretty funny. I'm suprised her parents took her in the first place. If you've seen the movie or have been to the concert you'll know what I mean.

Ooh, I went to that in September 2010. It was fun, wasn't it? I love The Wall so much... I hope that a CD version of the new tours come out, because I really want to hear some of the new versions again. I loved how Run Like Hell was in a different key, and the French wife in The Trial was great. (I also liked the edit done to the Judge's line... Hehe.)

Man, I loveee Pink Floyd! One of my most favorite bands ever. I sure would love to go. I know Roger Waters did a few shows in my area last fall I believe, but unfortunately I didn't get to go. I, too, have heard from many people say it was an awesome show though. One of these days... grrr... lol... one of these days hopefully I will get to see it for myself!!

WOW...that's amazing!!!  I live in the Seattle area too & didn't manage to get tickets.  I LOVE Pink Floyd - they're my #2 band, with the Beatles as #1 - and I'm hoping to see David or Roger live some day.  (I have to admit - I wept when I saw the video of them performing together at Live8 years ago!!)
