Anybody collect Filly Princesses?

I was out shopping last week with my dad and we got 2 Filly Princess blind bags since we haven't had the MLP blind bags around here yet.
I got Rowena and Lori and they are happily sitting with my other ponies.

I just have a few questions about the Filly Princesses.
How many are there to collect?
On the back of the baggy it said that there was 80-something of them to collect. Somewhere else said that there was only 21.

Can they be deflocked like you would deflock so-softs?
One of the ponies I got has flocking loss on her hooves and scratches on her eyes so I was considering trying to customize her. Has anyone every tried before? Or would I just have to test it myself.


For anybody who does collect them I would love to hear about your collection or see some pictures of them! At first I wasn't too sure about them, but now they are growing on me.

The "84 to collect" has to do with the fact that each of the 21 Fillies has four possible color combinations, though I've only seen one of each here in the US.  I'm missing a couple of them from the set (Crystal and Lori, and a couple of others).  I've stopped picking them up since it seems like I always get the same ones when I pick up a bag but they are very cute.  I hope the Fairy set makes it over here!

There are 21 different characters but 85 counting different color variations. As for deflocking, not a clue.

Im not sure if they can be deflocked or not--id assume so.  Maybe try it out and see?

Has anyone taken any decent pics of these? I keep seeing them but in the pictures I've found they just look a bit scary...

Ahhh.. I was a little confused about the numbers. Thanks for clearing that up.
I will try and find out later tonight if I can deflock them.

And Pinkemena, they are kinda 'scary' looking at first (at least in my opinion), but they grew on me after about a week of having them.
 
I'll take some pictures of my two later if I get a chance.

I actually bought three of them the other day to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I cannot seem to like them. Kinda regretting spending the money on them. Perhaps they will grow on me? Not so sure about it, though.

I didn't really like mine at first either, but I think with time they will grow on you.
If not you could always trade them?

Mine definitely grew on me. I picked one up - Duke Linard, awhile ago, and wasn't too impressed, but I have this strange urge to get more! So since I have surgery coming up, I bought 5 or 6 of them, to open one every day... I've already opened three! I have the "super wonderful rare" Princess Crystal (!), Princess Pretty (kinda looks like pinky pie), Princess Amira, and Linard.

I was also real curious about the variations, and if they actually exist! And there's a fairy set?!

No, they totally have scary eyes! But that makes me feel sorry for them and think they are cute by default!

I love them and have a small pile to trade at the moment. Our Targets just got them back in and now they have the variant colors. Yay!

I am actually thinking about doing just that. They come with their stickers and inserts. If anyone is interested I can take pics. One of them has a nasty factory flaw.

They are cute! But I don't know about removing the flocking...but I'm tempted to try and get one just to do it, cause now I'm curious.

I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of the factory flaws.

I still haven't taken the time to try and figure out if you can remove the flocking. xD I will have to remind myself to try tonight if I have time.

And I really do like the fact that they come with stickers, but I didn't see the sticker album when I grabbed them.
