I don't eat at mcdonalds, but I may buy friends happy meals just to get these!!

Actually, you don't have to buy the Happy Meal or any food to get the toys. You can buy them alone and they cost around $2 each, or you can order a food item or even something like a shake and they'll sell them for $1 each.

I'm not sure if I need these now.  In the pic on McDonalds website it looked like the little clip clipped onto their ear or something but now seeing this it seems they all have an extra little loop on top of their heads that the clip goes on. I don't really like that 
I'll probably stop by a McDonalds to see the display in person once they are out.

Not sure if I want to collect all of them, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting one or two for a diaperbag charm

Well I never did get all the ponies last year and the ones I did are in rough shape so I'm sure to get this round, my uncle is manager at my local Mcdonalds so I'll be sure to remind him to get me the set haha

I was also disappointed when I saw those ugly loops. I had to go back to the mcdonald's page and compare.

I can definitely see how this might annoy people, but it kinda makes me want them more now so I can clip them on my keys and stuff, woo!

The clip loops on top of their heads are a bit disappointing, I must admit. I will still be getting my fav characters since I pretty much missed the entire set last time around (got my #1 gal Pinkie Pie though so it wasn't all bad news).

I hope this will appears in Sweden later this year. We got the first batch but it didn't include Celestia and Cheerilee , nor the combs. I really want the Lily Blossom

I really like them~ I'm hoping to get the Mane 6, Cheerilee and Lily Blossom are cute, but I don't really like them as much. These would be perfect to join the original McDonald's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic toys on my desk at work!

does mc donald's let people buy/have the display ones when the toys are going to end, or do they have to send them back like most stores claim they do. (i asked at walmart once for a bunny display from easter, it was a sign hanging up, and they said they have to send it back so i couldn't have it, but another lady said they always throw them away)

I HATE those clips, reminds me of how I sanded off the rings of some old first wave BK Pokemon toys back in 1999 so they could be normal figures. Guess I'll be doing that again!

Bahh I KNEW they'd have ugly loopy things. You can kinda see it on one of them in the original pic we had. :/

I still really want Lily Blossom and wouldn't mind a couple others but..I really don't care to have them all. I like figures way more than keychains.
