*POLL* Where would you travel to get to the MLP Fair?

soo i was looking at the responses to the post about "are you going to the fair?" and so many of us cant make it because its too far away 

so i was just thinking maybe if we all can put in a vote for places we would be willing to travel to....

it may help decide where to have one next year ^_^

this comes up every year, and Sweet Tune and those before her do/did their best each year.
I don't mind where it is as long as it keeps changing location and they don't duplicate a city - that means I should be able to get it it at least *some* of the years.
In the past I didn't have a job that paid enough $ to let me fly to California (it was there twice) or Minnesota, Nevada, or Rhode Island (the first time), but now I'm in more of a postition to fly if I needed to...but I prefer driving distance (up to a day travel) so that I can bring stuff for my mutiple booths.
it's a priorities thing...I know we have people from other COUNTRIES coming to the Fair every year, and plenty of other collectors go cross-country.

of course, everyone wants it near them
but there are plenty of cities I wouldn't mind "vacationing" in while at the Fair (we're making a week-long vacation of Orlando this year), so the Fair planners try to pick cities that have other stuff to do

I didn't mean to complain or seem ungreatful,
I had a blast at the las Vegas one a couple years ago and I can't imagine how much work goes into making that all possible for us!

I'm sure the Fair staff is happy to hear suggestions of where to go next in threads like this, Rel. 

I'll go just about anywhere.    I also make it a priority to go to the Fair every year - it's my summer vacation.  I haven't missed one since San Fran.

Granted, I've got a job that pays well enough that I can squirrel away the money, and I don't have a husband and kids that I need to take into account either (but I do have a Roomy who loves a road trip) so that makes it easier for me to get there.  I appreciate the Fair staff's efforts to move it around so that more people have the opportunity to get there at least once.  I know Orlando has come up as a suggestion numerous times in the past.  (At this point I've seen more of the States than I have of my own country!)

Heck, Roomy and I were even planning to go to the UK Con this year, but due to unforseen circumstances we've had to delay our trip for another year.

California and Oregon because they are closest for me, and then New Jersey because of Hasbro's headquarters-- I want a tour!

That's me, too... It was the year I started to actually collect them, and had I known, I would have gone! Only an hour away, too, it makes me sad thinking about it I think the mid-US should have a turn, too though.

I've only been to the one fair in CA, and unless there is another one around here I probably won't ever feel like I can afford to go. Largely because of airfair costs.

Nebraska!  So I can conceivably go! LOL  But assuming I had the means, I'd go anywhere.  Aizona and Hawaii were my other choices because I love the desert and love tropicalness.

North East, preferably a state bordering Ontario or Quebec I'm in Ottawa, Canada! Honestly I'd love an excuse to visit New York. The west coast is just too hard to get to since I can't afford to fly. Florida is driveable, but I don't have the money this year.

I picked California, as that is where I will be living as of September this year, and while I'm more than happy to travel, I know some Aussie ponies that will come use me for accommodation if it was in California.  How awesome would Anaheim be?  You could do Disney, and then go to San Diego as comic con is usually the following week!

I also had New York and Mississippi, just because I plan to go to these places anyway, so it would be awesome to combine the trip!

Somewhere Between New York and Virginia would be best but if it was in the Southwest like Flagstaff or Las vegas, I would consider it. Gives me an excuss to visit LA

I really like that the MLP Fair is in Florida this year - I love the idea of it being in Rhode Island, but there's nothing to do there beyond the Fair, you know? In Florida, there's Disney World, Universal Studios, all kinds of places! So you don't have to JUST do the Fair. So I like it when there's other options around for entertainment!

That said, I am selfish and I want it back in California. I drove up to San Fran for one Fair, and then to Las Vegas for another; Anaheim has a really neato convention center, AND it's right next to Disneyland! Hint hint!
