My grail would be a glossy alborozo. Any ladies here lucky enough to have even the normal alborozo?
Or how bout any live auction models.. I like the limited editions or breyerfest prize models. I wish they would do more andalusians though.

Post by: little.fox on October 05, 2015, 03:08:19 PM: I sold off most my Breyers in a move a few years back, I only kept a handful of the older Stablemates, as they were my faves. I have to say I miss the bigger ones sometimes, especially my Polaris. Gotta love that Huckleberry Bay mold!

I had to pass on it and was so sad! But guess what two years later it went up for sale! I about fell out of my chair when I saw it and bought it right away! So Happy that I have him now! He is never going anywhere!

That sure is one beautiful pictures of that Spirit mold!

I would love to see others collections if you have any :)

Thank you! I had a ton more when I was younger! I know I have more pictures. I will have to look around and see if I can find them! :) I miss them all and some of them I will never be able to afford to get back :(

Along with some really old Vintage Glass horses in my China hutch, well let's just say there are horses all over the House ^.^ I do maintain a Sales Page at the MH$P and just sold my Beautiful half Arabian JP Penney Set on there.

I loved them as a kid and all mine are from when I was way younger in the 90's and before I knew they were so collectible. I'm actually pretty glad my mom decided to keep these, along with all my Littlest Pet Shops, Polly Pockets, and My Little Pony toys! There's an antique store near me that has quite a few for sale and I'm always tempted to buy one...

Custom nursing foal I did several years ago, painted with acrylics.
And not a Breyer but I hand made these from wood and hand painted.

That's great, our antique shops here in my area think they are a gold mine, even all rubbed up. There are a lot of Breyer vendors on the MH$P site and also some people selling collections. I saw the JCP Sprit Horses, Eagle running stallion and colt on there the other day, someone had $25.00 on the pair + shipping, that's a steal price for the set.

I have been taking my horses down in preparation for new flooring and packing them away.
I had to share my Old Composition horses. I purchased them off ebay years ago in a lot for $24.00.
They are not in great shape as they were stored in an Attic in Arizona for years in a suit case but they are still very cool.
I mounted them on wood bases so they can stand up right. Notice the gold mesh cloth on the one set of white horses. Those particular horses use to have rabbit fur tails. I keep them in plastic cases to keep dust off.

Those are some cute pictures! I did add the Green Ivy to my collection. And I also took 13 Breyers out of there boxes today along with some G4 ponies. There seems to be less clutter in the room. I was getting overwhelmed!

He is a Stone OOAK though. He's amazing though.

Mainly because I moved to another state and I couldn't afford them anymore. I have not sold any nor plan to, my collecting is just at a halt. Also, a 1/4 of my collection is in one state with me, the others are all back home. I have not gotten an updated picture in close to 6 years. I do not collect a specific mold or horse or color, I just collect the horses that stand out to me the most.

From what I can remember of my "brain catalog", I do have around 50-60 traditional models (most unboxed, the rest NIB) around 12 classics, around 22 stablemates, 9 wind dancers, 3 stuffed breyer horses, the old 2 stall all wooden breyer barn with removable hay loft and ladders, countless accessories including tack, fencing, dolls, etc. & book sets. My gems in my collection are rain and spirit from breyers spirit stallion of the cimarron collection. I can't tell you how much I would just LOVE to be able to collect again. It was something my dad and I did together and I just love it.

The last breyer I received was a christmas gift from my sister in law, the gypsy vanner. I love him.

If I could still afford to collect, I'd love to add these gems to my collection:

And I'm confused, weren't they discontinuing the halloween specials? I'm seeing new halloween horses I've never seen before and Im :shocked: . Also, is moody still creating molds for breyer? I've been out of the collecting loop for awhile and didn't know. And has breyer gotten any new named sculptors that are as good? (I love moodys work btw :P )

Oh! I have him! Originally has a small gold eagle on the top of the tack? Mine was a Budweiser Clydesdale that goes along with a cart. I remember the cart was too expensive and you needed to purchase like 6 or 8 Clydesdales total to make it look legit. I bought only one at the time.

I had that guy. I sold him off two years ago at a rummage sale. Not sure where I had gotten him at either when I was a kid.

I've collected off n on since then. My childhood and teen herds were given away. My first adult herd melted in a fire. (The dollar store horses were the only ones to only get a little scorched, go figure) and started collecting again later.

Granted, I have 4 of the silver mold, but I only got the 3 because of wanting to get the pegasus. Never found the 4th and never got pegasus :/. More than anything I'd like to get all of the unicorns Breyer has made. Or try to get close.

Post by: wystearya on July 12, 2016, 12:46:01 PM: My Mom has a few older Breyers, that she had as a child. One is shiny and grey, but not in the best condition, I believe both ears are badly chipped. (As in half the ear is missing!)

If anyone would want to see I can try to get pics sometime. Though, it might be hard.. Mom may think I am selling her stuff! (lol!)
