As I suspected, by the time my mom got ready to repot plants, she decided it was too late to do it. :(  I shouldn't be so disappointed about it, but  she kept saying "After this, we'll repot plants" all day long.  I also made sure I wasn't involved in anything too deeply so when she got ready we could repot the plants together.

Off Topic / Small Flea Market Finds Post
« Last post by Rainlove The Pegasus on Today at 07:09:34 PM »
I went to a flea market this morning. I did not find any ponies, that is why I am posting in the off topic area today.

I found some small Boomerang Mc Donalds toys today, $1.00 each. I bought all three that the gal had. I took a short walk around, didn't see much. I bought one of those slug fidget toys that make the weird crackling sound when you move it. It gives me slight tingles when I make the noise with it.

I did not work last week, I had a swim meet with Special Olympics last Saturday and won all four of my races I did!

I do have today's blog tho!

Today was slow but I got through it. I was early to work because I tried doing a Garage sale and failed. No one bought anything, so I took what no one bought with me to work and donated it. After that, I went in and walked around for about 20 minutes and looked at the books since I never have time with my normal 10 minutes. I found 5 different mlp books, and told myself that if they were still there after 4pm, I would buy them. They were still there so I bought them along with a smaller fox squishmallow. A co-worker, Greg, gave me a couple of York mints before I started greeting today because why not. He is an older guy, not like 40 I would say. I saw a couple of people I recognized today. At the end, I was able to hold the stores' cat, Kiera!!!! I was so happy! She was content in my arms and I made sure she was ok with me holding her. After that, I was dismissed to leave and went home.

Here is the photo of the items I purchased on my break today:

Wanted! / Seeking Paradise Estate accessories
« Last post by MustBeJewel on Today at 05:15:12 PM »
I'm still trying to complete this spare Paradise Estate, but it appears my inventory of it last time wasn't completely accurate and I missed a few things.
Please let me know if you have any of these last pieces to sell ❤

Thanks everyone.    I still miss her a lot.

I tried to talking to my mom about something and she told me that I if I wanted to talk about that she wanted to go home (we were in the car)  When I told her  that was mean and not nice she told me it wasn't because she didn't want me to get upset right then.  I asked her if she thought telling me that she wanted to go home wouldn't upset me just as much.

I wanted to repot plants today, but my mom keeps putting it off.  It's probably going to be too hot to do it today after she gets everything done she wants to do.

I found a dead baby bird on the patio.  I'm not sure if it fell out of the nest during the storms we had or if one of th neighborhood cats got it.

blue thunders (or whatever that one pegasus band was called I dont remember)
"Electric Blue" is the name of the pegasus band - "Blue Thunders" is what Lauren thought The Wonderbolts were going to be called.

And yeah, while I hardly ever keep up with G4 onwards toylines (so I may end up thinking that a character never had a toy when they they did) I do feel that G4 and G5 have several choices of who to make toys out of, rather than just focusing on the mane characters.

I think the Student Six were underused in the G4 toyline, despite being kind of a big-ish deal in the show (like they almost felt like they could have been the main characters in a spin off that didn't exist, or something...)

I'm surprised that neither Ruby Jubilee or The Dreamlands had any G5 toys made for them, given that they were created for the 40th Anniversary (I'm assuming for The Dreamlands, but they have to be!), but even on their own they work as toys (especially Kitcatepic's suggestion of Ruby being a singing toy or something.)

Agree on G1 ponies like Knightshade and the Tales boys making sense as toys - the fact that they're ponies even makes it sound like Hasbro had no excuse...

And yeah, I see the appeal of wanting villain toys as well - G1 Tirek in my opinion really seems like a character who should have a toy of him somewhere, but apparently he doesn't...

Also, this doesn't really fit here, as it's not a character, but I feel that a toy based on G4.5 Twilight's star projector in Pony Life would have been beautiful.  :lovey:

Very good points, especially that point about G1 having more mystery due to not being as organized, because it was the first - never thought of that, but it makes a lot of sense.

I admit that (regardless of whether it's actual mystery or just something I didn't know) I kind of fell into the same trap that I showed awareness of - thinking of the show over the toyline.

slept late :( at least it's the weekend. my sleep has been wonky too. i woke up at 2:30am and took about an hour to fall back asleep.

today i need to get everything ready for us to drive to Houston for my MIL's funeral. I also need to go over to my parent's. i haven't felt up to seeing anyone really but i should go over there and visit.

other than that i need to clean the house some and finish trimming the plants in the front yard. i usually water every other day if it doesn't rain so i think if i water before we leave and when we get home they'll be ok.

i get a lot of anxiety when i travel. it's why i don't really go on vacation. it's hard for me to leave the dogs. we're taking one with us and 2 of them will stay with my parents.
