What toy is this (rainbow dash)?

I wanted to thank you all for helping me with learning about ponies and everyone being so kind. 

I found this Rainbow Dash toy in a thrift store recently and was wondering what it was (or what it goes to)? It says '2004 Hasbro' on it and is about 2 in. long (is hollow inside). I tried looking everywhere for it but have no idea what it's from. Any help is appreciated...thanks!

Yes, rainbow dash, I think a lot of 3 of them I bought said a cake topper? Yeah. Here's a different one. Pretty sure I have it MIB too and that's what it said.

I don't know if there's a technical term for this type of figure, but it was made for decorating the top of sheet cakes. I think there are Pinkie Pie and Sunny Daze versions too.

Oh!  I have this figurine and one of Pinkie Pie too!  It's nice to know what it was from, I had been assuming it came with a book for some reason...

She was sold in a pack of three! I know pinkie was with her. Maybe sunny daze?

Yes it was Sunny Daze - all 3 of them are on the link ponycake shared. They were cake toppers. Pretty cute ones as well
