So what started out as an experiment...

...ended up being a full blown first time de-flock/re-pinking!

Hi gang... (wasn't sure if this fit with the customs or not so if it gets moved by a Mod I won't be offended  )

I some how acquired this really stained, missing flock, faded hair Wind Whistler... I think one of my friends found her at a garage sale a few summers ago.  Didn't really know what to do with her since I already had a much nicer one.  So she has just been sitting around gathering dust.

Today was my last day of holidays and what a better way to relax then a pony spa day, right? I was just going to give her a bath and eventually put her up for sale/trade.  I started to wash her and needless to say her flocking just started crumbling off of her.  I took a picture:

Gross right?  As an experiment I started scraping her, and, well, the rest tells itself.  I couldn't stop!  A little bit of acetone afterwards to clean up the glue residue, some pink lemonade drink crystals mixed up with hair conditioner (for lack of having nothing better) and... voilà!

I couldn't be happier with the way she turned out!  Her hair is super shiny (and smells good too) and she has a brand new lease on life... Come to think of it, I have a Lofty somewhere just begging for a bath, lol.
