Yeah that is odd. O.o It sounds like a plasticizer breakdown but she should be toughening up instead of melting!

That being said, I hadn't even heard of G3's having the same plastic breakdown problems G1's had so this is all a mystery to me.

Me neither :/ I'm guessing I just got unlucky!

Try massaging some talcum powder or rubbing alcohol [avoid paint] in to her - if its plasticiser or some kind of chemical break down that will slow it down enough to prevent her getting sticky all the time.

I can't offer much advice, but I can say I have a BUNCH of G3s that are squishy and/or sticky. :/

Some of my new mail arrivals have came to me kinda squeezable... usually the problem goes away after I wash their manes and put them on my shelf! Not a good thing she is actually, sorry about that.. I think she needs to be replaced. Im happy members here are willing to offer you a new one!

I think you should hold on to her just to see what happens. For pony science!   
Personally I'd keep her separated from the other ponies in case she...melts on them? I'd guess that won't happen, but I'd be paranoid enough to prepare for it.
