Hi everyone! Pictures first:

LOOK!!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOK!! It's the train set we thought would only be Australian-released!! AND IT'S IN THE US! 8D
IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL DFKSDJFKADLF. It comes with the three train pieces seen here, some bonus multi-colored pets, Apple Bloom, Pinkie (sorry, that's Twilight Sparkle with a bent leg!) and Dash, and more train tracks than the solo train set came with! (There's two more 'straightaway' pieces, and a couple more of the curvy bits.)
I just found it today while I was looking for the NMM-collectors-set, which I'm still 0/2 on. But they had THIS beauty, and several of the other TRU-only sets, like the Celestia-teatime set (not pictured), the blind-bag-group set (half visible) and the Daisy Dreams/Rarity scooter set! Only downside - no NMM, Zecora, or blind bags! Last week they had three boxes - this week, suddenly gone. Weird!
I haven't seen any updates about this set, and I was so sad, because I figured I'd have to import it from Australia - and this set is HEAVY, so shipping would be a bear! So yay for it showing up here!! :cheer: Keep an eye out, everyone!

Yes its made it to the US, the UK and Australia so far! So cool that some things are not turning out to be as exclusive as we first thought :)

Just got back from Toys R Us and was going to post that I found this too. It was $39.99 which I think is a great deal if you consider it comes with 3 ponies, 2 extra train cars, 4 pets, extra tracks and extra little accessories. I have to compare when I get home, but I'm pretty sure this bent leg Apple Bloom has the paler burgundy hair like the straight leg one that came with the Fair set. As far as I know it would be the only bent leg one with this shade.

Oooh, I can't wait to get the new train + cars! I hope I can connect the tracks and cars from the new and old sets to make one giant set ^_^

really? so maybe it might reach new zealand, oh fingers crossed, i was just about it get upset from seeing the 'only at toy r us' sticker on it
oh good to see it hit the shelves and hoping its not yet ANOTHER US exclusive

$39.99 in the US, $80 in nz >_< it would be twice the price like all sets

Yes it was in BigW in Australia and Argos in the UK...so maybe it will get to NZ too :)

I just bought this set at my TRU in Waco, TX! I really like it. The only complaint I have is that I thought the building that comes with it was going to be made of plastic, but turns out it is a cardboard standee. On a good note, the standee isn't of the school house like I originally thought. It's actually a train station.
