To begin, I'm 27 and I live in Upstate NY.  I spend most of my time going to baseball games during the summer and spend most of the off-season  wondering why time moves so much slower during the winter.  When I'm not doing that, I'm usually exploring some odd corner of the internet.

A few weeks ago I started searching for one of my favorite ponies from my childhood.  Turned out the pony was a Cabbage Patch fakie but in the process of tracking it down I wandered through quite a few MLP websites and forums.

After recognizing so many ponies I used to own (and finding so many new places to buy them) I've been overcome by a nostalgia-driven buying spree.   I'm suddenly compelled to build an army of G1 ponies.  Together we shall recapture my childhood!

Not really interested in G2-G4, since they weren't a big part of my childhood.  Pre-1990 or bust!  (Does that make me an MLP hipster?)  I love seeing the collections people have built and the custom ponies some people make. 

I've decided to try my hand at making pony clothes (just ordered some junk clothes to use for patterns).  It's almost baseball season and my ladies need to be properly uniformed.  Tips from anyone with experience sewing for ponies are welcome.

I'm super stoked to be here and I hope I get to stick around for a long time.
