Just out of curiosity what makes these gal's so saught after? Were they limited release? Im kind of shocked at how high they go on ebay...especially Applejack.

For some reason, Applejack was a lot harder to find than the others. I've seen EVERYONE else around here but never an AJ. 

I have a hard time finding any in stores now accept Rainbow Dash and Rarity.

Yeah, I thought Applejack was rarer in stores.  She sure was rare here!  I only saw maybe 2 or 3 ever in stores.

I like them better than the little playful ponies, to be honest, even if they do cost over double the price.

Mostly it's just because they're no longer sold in stores. Applejack was in the first wave back in 2010 with Rarity and hasn't been re-released in a later wave like all the others, which makes her much harder to find. They're supposed to re-release all the main six Fashion Styles soon, but we don't know yet if they'll have the same accessories or not.

Applejack and Rarity are the hardest to find and quite sought after. I have heard Hasbro will be doing a second release but am not sure when.

aj is pretty well non existant on the west coast..ive called or checked(check wallgreens!) rarity is rare but still findable at some walgreens..the other 4 are easily found..to my knowladge i picked up the last rarity in the portland area and i say that very widely (went to woodburn) for a friend

if aj exists on the west coast its an odd named store in the middle of BFE

Man, I saw Applejack constantly around here about a year ago... It seemed like she was super common and NO ONE wanted her cuz I never saw her move off shelves until she went on-sale... I regret not buying one or two now just to trade. >_>

I think everywhere I go there is one single FS sitting by itself on a shelf.

I heard Rarity is coming out again next year... so maybe Applejack too.

But not for $100+ like she's going for now.

See I kcick myself in the but for not picking up AJ. There were TONS of her around me and I never thought to pick her up.

I'm looking forward to the Rarity re-release. I see tons of Rainbow Dashs, a few Fluttershys, and my Target had some Twilight Sparkles. Need all unicorns!

I am so glad I picked up AJ. The only styling G4 pony I'm missing is Pinkie Pie, and she's still everywhere.

i had AJ, she was the only one of the FS's that i picked up 
but i gave her to my cousin  in exchange for some  NECA figuerines   or something like that.

im not all that cut up about it  im not a huge fan of the FS ponys.
