Happy to say, she's in my collection. Last TE I needed for this set and my favorite.

Starting from the very beginning of MLP this year. Will continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

Pass, I've never quite gotten the hype between her. Not much of a one for getting stuff just cause it's popular. I'd keep her if one fell into my hands somehow, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get her.

Pass, too expensive and my least favorite unicorn pose. If BF made her I'd pick her up for DD, but not for myself.

Have her, genuinely love her, don't care for the unnecessary hype people have created around her.

She was my first international trade. I know she arrived here on 17th Nov 1997, and I traded Gypsy for her. Back then UK release ponies were massively scarce online because so few UK people were connected back then.

Back then she was sort of sought after but it was a lot more innocent and connected to fandom of the episode. The mad and increasingly ugly hype came afterwards, and was not helped by the stupid Church of the MOC Mimic stuff.

I dislike people buying her just for status. I dislike people actively not buying her because of her hype. I dislike all of the stuff around her these days, basically. For me she's just a pony I really and sincerely loved, back before all that crazy warped her profile...and I get sad when I see people bring her price or her alleged 'rarity' into their reasons for wanting/not wanting her. That's not how any pony stuff should be IMO. I hate it for most ponies, but especially Mimic.

 I traded a carboot pony for her, back in a time when a pony for a pony was the going rate of currency, and I MISS those days so much. It was just a trade of a pony not found in the UK for one not found in the US and that's all.

I did find one at a carboot sale here in the UK once. I don't know why that happened, but it means I've found more Mimics here than I ever have Powder or Medley.

I loved her in her cartoon.  As a kid she checked a lot of boxes for me.  I collected ponies that were not like my other ponies.  I didn't have a green pony and I didn't have a pony in her pose.  Her name and symbol were lovely.  She was a perfect fit.  I was disappointed I never found her.

Somehow, I survived anyway.

I've loved her since seeing The Golden Horseshoes as a kid, but I've never owned her. I don't think I've even ever seen her in person. I missed out by about 10 minutes on buying her for $70 at a local con about 10 years ago, and her value has increased to crazy stupid amounts over the last couple of years. So she will likely never join my collection.

I am not a fan, so I will pass on her today (it means someone who will really love her in their collection will get chance to own her).

I have her and I really do love her. She is special and has a place next to Rapunzel but that's a story for another time.

Have. Mine lost the very top piece of her horn, so I rounded it down. I do not want to attempt to mix that colour, otherwise I would have fixed it with Apoxie Sculpt. Otherwise she's in great condition

I sincerely thought about it because her colours and symbol are nice. But I'm not keen on her pose, so I decided to pass on her and this pose in general. I'd like if BF made her in the Majesty or Fizzy pose.

I like her but she is worth so much money that I would probably immediately sell her if I found her in the wild...
