I recently found the second series of the rainbows and i was thrilled. I had missed them at my local targets and they do't seem to be carrying them anymore even before all of the stuff that's going on now). I do hope we see some of the ponies that were sowed at toyfair.

Does anyone know for sure if we are getting a Gusty for this series?  I'm REALLY hoping so!

Yes we are, as long as retailers are willing to play ball. I'm still sore that they wouldn't pick up the Flutters

If we get them, and the current crisis doesn't derail their production.

I was thinking the same thing, Taff.  Basic Fun is a small toy company, their main market is the US, and so many Americans are unemployed right now.  Honestly I just hope they survive this crisis.  No one is going to be buying toys while they're laid off.

Yeah. I was thinking of their staff in this kind of climate. They're in FL, right? Which is now in lockdown? Whatever happens, I hope they come through it. If we get the wave we do, if not we don't, but if the company survives it can always be revisited in a year or two for the 40th anniversary, and people need to be keeping their jobs for the global economy to pick up again after this is over.

Right now I think there are more important things than whether or not repro ponies are made, but it would be nice if we get through to the other side to think we might be able to look forward to them at a future date.

Well, it's actually because of this that I finally got my hands on one of the Basic Fun G3's. I went on Target's website to do some take out shopping. My browser has a page of one of them memorized that pops up above everything else when I start typing in Target to go to the website. Now when I did this recently I realized that the G3 Basic Funs are now available to ship out, instead of only saying "in stores" (which I could never find any trace of them in-stores).

So I ordered one. You have to spend $25 to get them to ship out, though, which is kind of a pain when you're strapped for money.

I'm afraid to go any where near Target right now.  But I'm hoping when it's all over there will be some nice surprises there.

I happened to find the whole set of remade G3’s and g1 rainbow ponies at Target, today! Wanted AJ, but I think there’s more fun in finding retro ponies at thrift stores than on big box store shelves.
