The Return of the McDonald's Halloween Happy Meal Buckets

Hi,

Is anyone else excited about these?  I still have my McPumpkin bucket from the 80s and am planning on trying to get at least one Halloween bucket during the promotion.

It should be opt-in or something... I feel similarly strange about reusable bags. If you already have tons of reusable bags at home, spend the five cents to use a brown bag instead of buying a bunch of new ones. We have enough reusable bags in the economy that the thrift outlet I go to sometimes will give you your purchases in a tote bag instead of a plastic one, because they just have so many bags. I feel similarly guilty about things like event t-shirts and clothing. At least it's just for the week or two?

I don't think they hold that much candy or are very comfortable to hold, which would be my concern as a kid. I'd stick to a pillowcase, thanks.

I got McBoo today. Everyone that I have seen post one so far have gotten the same.  My family ordered 2 Happy Meals and both buckets were McBoo.


I do wish they had real lids instead of the fake lid thing at the top, but I'm happy to have McBoo.

The McDonald's I was at today had the pumpkin buckets, but I was there for breakfast and the manager said they couldn't sell the buckets without the Happy Meal.

My mom tried a different McDonald's last night and they told her they were completely out of Halloween buckets and Happy Meal toys.

I now the first ones were handed out only during a certain time, like design one was only for a bit then moved onto the next design.

Went to McDonald's today and saw that they were back^^ I think I had all three or two out of three as a kid. I was a little tempted and I think it's really awesome that they're back but I won't get any this time around because I wouldn't really have a use for them.
