Pony Corral / Re: Please help me identify these fakies
« on: January 22, 2012, 11:09:16 AM »
I have seen a lot of baby ponies like the ones in the first pic and I have some myself, but I have never seen them with two rows in the mane! I have only seen them with one row! They are really cute!  I think several companies made that kind of baby ponies but I think the two rows in the mane can help indentify them. I hope someone can help you :)

I have another question:
How do you tell which posts in a thread are new posts you haven't read yet? On the old Arena the new posts had a different color icon but here the icons are the same. Isn't there a way to tell the unread posts from the read ones?
theres a little orange "new" symbol next to each unread post. it disappears after you read it :)

There's supposed to be "new" symbol by the new posts in a thread? They are not showing for me  . I can only see the "new" symbols that are on the forum pages by each thread with new posts in them. Howcome I can't see the "new" symbols within the threads?
oh i guess i meant the "new" symbols by the threads, not the posts.
I never saw any in the new posts at the old arena *scratches head*

Oh ok then :) . At the old Arena the little "piece of paper" icon by each post was white on old posts and yellow on new posts. It made it very easy to tell which posts were new since your last visit to that thread :)

They are not worth a lot unfortunately, only $1-$2 each. I sold the complete set for €4 ($5) but they were more or less like new and with all their accessories.

They are Colour Magic Pony Family ponies and they came with a matching baby as fingerpaints said. They came in three different colors that i know of: pink, lavender and light blue. Their mane and their body markings change color in  hot/cold water. In Denmark they were sold around the late 80s / early 90s. They came with a comb with strawberries and hearts, an "applier pen" to apply water to their body markings and two ribbons.

This is a picture of what they looked like from new:

And this picture is of a complete set I sold some months back:

Hope this helps  :)

It looks to me that maybe she was white originally? Maybe she can be sunfaded  :)
I hope you find a good home for her

Wow, you had a lot of ponies!! Back in the day I used to think I had a lot of ponies but after the Internet came around I learned otherwise  :P .

I have never grown out of my ponies so my "childhood" ponies and "adulthood" ponies are a continuum but I will make the line at the point where the original ponies ("G1") dissapeared from the stores. At that point I had:
Cotton Candy
Liljekonval (so-called alternate birthflower pony Lily of the Valley)
Amica (an imitation baby pony)
First Base
Baby Lickety Split
Tex
Milky Way
Baby Sister Apple Delight
Chief
Baby Quackers
Tutti Frutti
Baby Bouncy
Baby Sister Bright Bouquet
Daddy Bright Bouquet
Mummy Bright Bouquet
Baby Brother Bright Bouquet
Baby Northstar
Tracks
Baby Count-a-Lot
Sail Away
Baby Sunbright
Lemon Drop and the pink Show Stable
Kiss 'n Make-up
Baby Stargaze
Baby Starbow
Melody
Kiss 'n Tell

a total of 27 ponies.

This is probably just a minor thing but when on the forum default theme/MLP_pink theme the icon for read messages (in My Messages) doesn't work, it's just a red x.

Edit:
I have another problem. When I log in from the index page I get the message that my password is incorrect and I have to log in again. This is even though I know for sure I haven't typed it wrong. If I log in from another page there is no problem, only on the index page  . It is rather annoying as the index page is where I usually log in. It has been like this since day one but I was hoping it would go away. It will log me in from the index page if I already have been logged in and then have logged out and then log in again within the same browser session. I don't know if it's a bug? Is anyone else having this problem?

Aand one more minor thing  . When I'm replying to a message and I click Preview, the preview page jumps to the smilys/text area in the Modify message section and not the preview just above it. It would be nice if it jumped to the preview  ;) .
